Open enrolment Leadership and Management Programme for early career managers of charities.

The programme is designed primarily for individuals who have been managers for a short period of time (up to two years), but can be just as valuable for individuals who are on the cusp of promotion into their first management role ('emerging managers'), and individuals who have been managing for more than two years and need support. Such individuals may manage a programme/activity/project, or staff, or both.

The aim of the programme is to help each manager build key competencies that enable them to achieve peak performance, and in so doing, help their charity achieve greater impact.

The programme blends one-day training courses, with half-day advice clinics, and one-to-one skills mentoring and performance coaching sessions.

Delegates come from a variety of roles, including mission-centred functions, such as service/programme delivery, policy development, and campaigning, and support functions, such as fundraising and donor development, marketing and communications, partnership development, membership, volunteer management, and finance, ICT and administration. It does not matter, as all delegates share very similar challenges of being leaders and managers in their respective roles, regardless of their areas of specialism.
