Would you like to be part of a growing corporate fundraising team where you can really make a difference? You will play a key role in assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager to secure new high-worth relationships and help deliver unparalleled service to our existing corporate partners.

It is an exciting time for Build Africa – we are continuing to grow as an organisation and improve our programmes, helping even more children and families in rural Kenya and Uganda to improve their educational opportunities and livelihoods, lifting themselves out of poverty for good. Since 2004, we have worked with over 100 schools and 150,000 children, and our income programme is currently benefiting over 30,000 people, mainly the families of the children who attend our partner schools.

In 2012 we are looking to increase our corporate income by at least 10% to more than £400,000.To achieve this, we need to continue to provide exceptional service and products to our corporate supporters. You will have the opportunity to play a part in shaping our long-term corporate fundraising strategy as well as manage a selection of relationships yourself, accompanying those donors on visits to our projects in Kenya and Uganda.

You will be based in our UK office in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Build Africa was recently named the UK’s Best Charity to Work For by the Charity Times Awards 2011. So if you are up to the challenge to help grow our corporate supporter base and are ready to work in a dynamic and creative team of fundraisers, then we look forward to hearing from you.

To apply, please email a cover letter and CV.

Closing date: 5pm on Tuesday, 31st January 2012.
Interview date: w/c Monday, 6th February 2012.

Please note: The post-holder is expected to comply with Build Africa’s child protection policy. This position falls within Build Africa’s standard category for child protection and will therefore include a CRB check.
