About 3SC
3SC’s mission is to become the contractor-of-choice for public service procurement in selected markets. We will work with our consortia to demonstrate and realise our conviction and thus will enable civil society organisations to deliver a higher percentage of contracts.
Established in 2009, 3SC was set up to bid for and manage large public sector contracts on behalf of civil society delivery organisations. 3SC has a unique approach to the management and delivery of contracts for the public sector as it recognises that whilst local voluntary and third sector organisations have the experience, knowledge and skills to deliver employment and welfare services at a local level, they often lack the opportunity to secure those contracts, because individually they cannot bid and deliver on the scale that is required. 3SC therefore champions a partnership approach, enhancing value and efficiency within the contracting process.
