We at GREAT believe that many women’s of lack basic human rights, let alone equal rights across the globe is the greatest human rights abuse of the 21st Century.
Women are the developing world's greatest asset but without education and participation in the decision making process, they are ill-equipped to achieve their potential. No country can afford to leave half it’s workforce uneducated, unrepresented and without a voice. The Gender Rights and Equality Action Trust is dedicated to amplifying the voices of these unheard millions of women, lobbying to see their inclusion in political and civil society, and fundraising to support grassroots NGO’s working on the ground in Africa and beyond. When you educate a woman, you educate her children, and offer a future to whole communities.
