The Place2Be, a 2011 Charity Awards Winner, provides an in-school counselling service to improve the confidence and wellbeing of children, their families and the whole school community. In this exciting period of growth we are looking for you to join us in making a difference to the lives of the children at our schools in England, Scotland and Wales.
Place2Be Volunteer Counsellors
We are currently recruiting qualified or trainee counsellors, clinical or educational psychologists to join our diverse team of close to 700 Place2Be Volunteer Counsellors working therapeutically with children.This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a school setting, with on-site supervision, training workshops and possible career progression within the organisation. Placements are for a minimum of one day per week for one academic year, term time only.
We need volunteers to work in our projects in both primary and secondary schools in Northumberland, East Lancs, Cardiff, Durham, East Lothian, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Harlow, Leeds, Medway, Manchester, Nottingham and
our eight hubs in London.
