Support Group Facilitators

Job Description

Sound CIC aims to improve the quality of life / health and wellbeing of young men with mental health conditions in the Merseyside region.

As part of our core service delivery we provide a number of support groups in a range of areas including:

Mental Health: Specialist groups in general mental health / depression / anxiety / OCD BDD / PTSD and Suicide.

Carers Groups: Specialist groups for carers of young men with mental health conditions.

Parents of Suicide groups: A sensitive group for relatives / friends of individuals that have committed suicide.

As a support group facilitator we are looking for an empathetic, caring individual with mental health awarness that has the confidence to facilitate a group. Specific qualifications are not needed as full training will be delivered.

Support groups will be run throughout Liverpool and we would only expect you to facilitate groups in your local area. Expenses will be reimbursed.

This job is suitable for a recent graduate.
