The Role:
We’re looking for a bold and caring person to lead and develop Lancashire Mind’s Wellbeing Coaching service and mobilise a pilot of therapeutic services; a new service for Lancashire Mind.

You will be a mental health practitioner with experience of delivering therapeutic services and understand the different types of therapy and support clients need. To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, project management and line management experience.

The current postholder is going on maternity leave so we are looking for someone who is able to step into the role and hit the ground running. You will be motivated, flexible and adaptable.

Along with managing the rollout of Lancashire Mind’s therapeutic services, you will manage several coaching focussed projects. As such you will lead on partner and funder liaison, promotion, quality assurance, monitoring and reporting. You will work with a range of voluntary and community organisations and will identify and develop new opportunities for services.

Job Title: Caring Dads Practitioner

Caring Dads exists to change current practice to better include fathers in efforts to enhance the safety and well-being of their children. The practitioner will work directly with fathers with an aim to improve relationships with their children, families, and co-parents/carers. This will include promoting the service to a range of teams across Hampshire and Southampton, to generate programme referrals. You will work closely with Hampton Trust domestic abuse perpetrator service to identify client suitability for the Caring Dads programme.

As the Caring Dads Practitioner, you will be required to deliver the Caring Dads and Accredited Domestic Abuse Prevention Training (ADAPT) Programme. This includes one to one support and group work. Groups are delivered on weekday evenings; you will be required to deliver one group work sessions per week.

You will undertake treatment and risk assessments of individuals causing harm in their relationships; this includes active case/risk management of families living with domestic abuse. Although this position is based in Ashurst, you will be co-located into social work teams across Hampshire three days per week, with an aim to providing support and advice in identifying suitable families for the Caring Dads and ADAPT programme.

Forces Employment Charity is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Caseworker to join our team working on the CFO (Co-financing Organisation) programme in partnership with the probation service. In this role, you will provide specialist support to veterans within the criminal justice system, focused on early intervention, support and diversion to prevent re-offending. For the CFO programme, Forces Employment Charity is working in partnership with probation service staff and other partner organisations to provide specialist support for veterans in the justice system.This support is focused on early intervention, support and diversion at point of contact with justice system in order to prevent re-offending.

The successful applicant will be providing activities and support to clients within a formal contractual framework working to challenging targets.The role holder will need a strong beneficiary focus and the ability to rapidly form relationships with partners and local agencies.

We run a monitoring programme to capture our social and environmental impact and effectiveness across a range of indicators and are looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to help with this work and become our Impact Coordinator. Job Purpose

This role sits within our new Men’s Minds project, based in Hounslow. The aim of the service is to improve men’s mental health outcomes by developing a mental health network supported and directed by the voices of its members.

This will be achieved through three service strands: 1) Peer support network, 2) Psychoeducation workshops, addressing common needs of men’s mental health 3) Outreach support to raise awareness of men’s mental health and promote this service.

The Men’s Minds Project Coordinator will work closely with the members in shaping the service and ensuring voices of men in Hounslow are heard and acted upon. This service will be staffed with 1 part-time (25hrs per week) Project Coordinator and a pool of peer led volunteers. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the volunteers.

The Role

Richmond Fellowship is part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. From 1st June 2024 Richmond Fellowship will be merging with the mental health charity Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. We are opening two new supported housing schemes in Lambeth, which will be Ofsted registered. Both schemes are part of our well-established Young Persons and Complex Needs service in London and will provide temporary housing for young people aged 16-17 who are experiencing homelessness. 

A bit about the role:

As a Caseworker, you will be working with a team of highly motivated, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues supporting a caseload of young customers with complex needs. You’ll need to meet each customer weekly to help them with their goals and discuss their progress. And, when someone’s ready to move on, we'll rely on you to help them access the housing register or look for suitable rented accommodation.

You may have worked with vulnerable young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, maybe as a Youth Worker or in an education setting providing pastoral care. In this role, you will be a vital member of the management team, providing operational leadership and line management support to Eye Care Liaison Officers (ECLO) and managing all aspects of operational delivery in our ECLO Services across the North of England (including but may not be limited to Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, Cumbria, County Durham & Teeside). You will also participate in the strategic and business planning processes working with key internal and external key stakeholders.

Working with the Eye Care Support Services Management team, you will support and maintain key relationships across health and social care to ensure that RNIB can reach more people with sight loss, earlier. Working across RNIB functions, you will also manage key internal relationships to support the delivery of our service to ensure patients access support at a time which is right for them.

You will have a vocational qualification in management, advice and guidance, or be experienced in successfully managing information and advice services. You will have demonstrable knowledge of key stakeholders involved within health and social care, excellent people management skills and have the ability to motivate and manage a geographically dispersed team, demonstrating an open and transparent management style who is solution focussed with a can-do approach to motivate and inspire your team.

You will be experienced in producing reports, delivering presentations, meeting Key Performance Indicators and a proficient user of Microsoft Office Packages and CRM systems.

Supporting ECLOs and services mainly across the North of England and other UK contracts as required, this role will involve, regular local and occasional national travel where there will requirements for occasional overnight stays.

This role is eligible for an enhanced criminal record check which includes a check of the children's and adults barred lists as the role holder will provide advice and guidance to children which relates to their physical and emotional wellbeing and adults which relates to personal care because of their disability.

Role Title: OISC Level 2 Immigration Advisor

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their immigration needs and eligibility

• Provide comprehensive advice on various immigration matters, including visa applications, settlement, asylum claims, and appeals within OISC level 2 guidelines

• Maintain accurate records and case files, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

• Advocate on behalf of clients by telephone, letter and email with appropriate agencies

• Keep up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies and provide training to colleagues as necessary

• Attend training events relating to asylum and immigration

• To supervise OISC level 1 colleagues

Person Specification:

Essential:

• OISC Level 2 accreditation is essential

• Previous experience working as an Immigration Advisor or similar role within the immigration sector

• In-depth knowledge of UK immigration laws, policies, and procedures

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

• Strong time management with the ability to work to strict deadlines

• Knowledge and understanding of the voluntary sector

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively

• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite

Desirable:

• Fluency in additional languages

Holder House is set in the leafy neighbourhood of Abingdon and provides care and support to 14 people from 18+ living with, and recovering from, enduring mental health issues. The Team Manager reports to and will be supported by the Registered Manager. 

As well as ensuring the quality of service and support provided to people who use our services, you will line manage front line staff and organise any building maintenance requirements. Whether you’re carrying out an induction, undertaking an investigation, putting team development plans in place or providing support to our business development team, one thing’s for sure – you won't be short of challenge and variety. We’re currently working towards being awarded ‘Outstanding’ at our next CQC inspection and you will play an integral part in helping us to achieve this.

Substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, as well as being outcome driven and able to lead by example using your firm but inclusive management style. You’re open and encouraging too and have lots of tact and diplomacy. What's more, you're great at managing conflicting priorities on time, have a flexible attitude to working hours and are willing to participate in on call arrangements. And, if you have experience of carrying out investigations, writing reports/recommendations or managing budgets, even better, although it's not essential as we offer an extensive induction and training programme for managers.

The service operates two sleep-ins per night (paid at £70.47 per 9-hour sleep-in) and an on-call rota (paid at £18.00) to cover a sleep-in/day shift in the event of absence – applicants should be flexible and available to cover sleep-ins and fill in on the on-call rota where needed.

This is a permanent full time role requiring the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week.
