Role overview.

These are offered on an assignment by assignment basis, one to two months in advance.

Requirements

• Qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent – 5+ years post qualified experience
• Grant management and audit and reporting experience with international institutions. Preference given to individuals that have worked on UN or EC grant assurance assignments
• Diplomacy and cultural sensitivity while working with a hugely diverse range of clients and beneficiaries
• A real interest in international development and associated funding structures
• Ideally but not essential fluency in a second language such as Spanish, German, French, Arabic & Portugese
• Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills in English.

We are working with Pact, who are seeking an experienced Senior Manager (Major Gifts) with a proven track record of success to manage and grow their portfolio of major donors and legacies, to enable them to make a difference to the lives of those affected by criminal justice.

Pact is a successful national charity that provides life changing and lifesaving care for men, women and young people in custody, those with criminal convictions in the community and their children, family members and carers. 

In this newly created role, the Senior Manager (Major Gifts) will provide strong stewardship of existing relationships of mid value and major donors, support and cultivate interest in Pact’s programmes and unrestricted giving and take responsibility for identifying and developing new major gifts from individuals and family trusts. In addition, you will strengthen and develop the legacy strategy and offer to existing and new individual supporter. 

This is a senior, strategic role within Pact and you will have 

• A proven track record and specialism in either legacy or major donor giving, and the autonomy to raise funds from individuals, including HNWIs and to lead on this area within a charity.
• Experience of researching and cultivating individuals including HNWIs and family trusts to secure financial support.
• Strong interpersonal skills, talented at building relationships and trust, and able to inspire long term commitment.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey concepts and inspire a wide range of people through written & verbal channels, with the ability to build a case for support.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and budgeting skills and be capable of writing effective proposals, and reports.  Experience of using Salesforce is desirable but not essential.

This permanent role pays a salary of £27,000 to £32,000 per annum. This is primarily a homebased role and Changing Faces are happy to consider full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) candidates. 

As the Trusts Officer, you will act as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of trusts and foundations, primarily up to £50,000. You will support the Head of Fundraising with larger multi-year bids and applications and proactively identify funding opportunities and to further build a robust trusts pipeline.

They are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering income from Trusts and Foundations. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skill along with demonstrable experience of producing high quality funding reports for Trusts and Foundations.

About the role - Interim Teaching, Learning and Assessment Manager:

As the Interim Teaching, Learning and Assessment Manager, you will lead the recruitment and management of a team of sessional law tutors, focusing on maintaining high-quality education and innovative teaching practices.

Key responsibilities - Interim Teaching, Learning and Assessment Manager:

• Recruiting and onboarding new sessional tutors, providing them with the necessary training and support.
• Monitoring and enhancing the teaching performance and quality delivered by your team.
• Participating in quality improvement activities such as audits and educational planning.

Skills / Experience required - Interim Teaching, Learning and Assessment Manager:

• Proven experience in teaching, training, or assessment within a competence-based framework.
• Experience leading teaching and learning teams or programmes, with a solid understanding of best practice with regards to teaching, learning and assessment
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and driving key performance indicators.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships.
