Job Purpose

This role sits within our new Men’s Minds project, based in Hounslow. The aim of the service is to improve men’s mental health outcomes by developing a mental health network supported and directed by the voices of its members.

This will be achieved through three service strands: 1) Peer support network, 2) Psychoeducation workshops, addressing common needs of men’s mental health 3) Outreach support to raise awareness of men’s mental health and promote this service.

The Men’s Minds Project Coordinator will work closely with the members in shaping the service and ensuring voices of men in Hounslow are heard and acted upon. This service will be staffed with 1 part-time (25hrs per week) Project Coordinator and a pool of peer led volunteers. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the volunteers.

We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. Do you have a track record of delivering accurate, reliable, administrative and project support in a fast moving environment? 
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a collaborative way to join the Marketing and Brand team as Project Administrator on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.  You'll support the day-to-day running of the team by providing effective administration and project planning. 

This role is varied and the successful postholder will be responsible for scheduling external and internal meetings, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, preparing reports, setting agendas and minute taking for meetings and financial administration. You'll also work with the Project Lead to provide project support to achieve implementation of key improvement projects.
 

We would like you to:

• Support the Marketing and Brand Director and Project Lead with managing project workflow (for example task tracking, updating and delegating tasks), sourcing and collating feedback and reporting as required.  
• Manage the Director Marketing and Brand’s diary including booking meetings, setting and minute-taking for key meetings.  
• Organising regular team meetings and events such as away days (booking meeting spaces, agenda, refreshments, liaising with attendees, etc)  
• Process our credit card costs and keep our budget tracker updated.

Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office and will report to the Project Lead.  In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a month, in addition to team days and this may be reviewed by Ambition. 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

To succeed in this role you'll have an helpful attitude, with the ability to take initiative to lead or support on projects as required, and you'll identify opportunities to improve operations. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple, competing demands, prioritising as appropriate.  

Whilst an interest in Marketing and Communications is desirable, it is not essential for applying to this role. Rather, you'll have proven experience of minute taking, preparing reports and PowerPoint presentations.

About the role:

This is a home based role that will include some travel across England and Wales for meetings etc. You will be working within a specific project that delivers learning externally to other organisations outside of VS. Your primary goal will be to deliver high quality digital learning interventions based on what our customers need.

As a Digital Learning Designer you will: -

• Support the scoping of learning needs with colleagues and make recommendations on potential digital based learning interventions
• Design and implement e-learning modules and other digital learning interventions including short video resources, animated videos etc
• Be the projects expert on digital learning interventions and how best they can be utilised to address learning outcomes and in turn support the improvement of performance
• Maintain and develop our Online Learning Site (Moodle based LMS) working with internal and external stakeholders
• Support the organisation to promote blended learning packages and digital only interventions to improve engagement with learners

You will need:

• Experience of instructional design and ability to design effective e-learning modules using Storyline software
• Experience of scoping out learning needs and addressing these through a digital or blended learning approach
• Experience of Moodle administration or similar e-learning systems
• Ability to work across multiple projects at the same time, manage stakeholder relationships including working with Subject Matter Experts and deliver high quality products within deadlines

The Talking Therapies department is in a period of growth which has resulted in our need to review our approach. We are creating this role to ensure that the department is able to work as effectively and holistically as it can. The postholder will have responsibilities for triaging and assessing potential talking therapies clients. The postholder will work closely with the Individual Counselling Manger, Groupwork Manager and Talking Therapies Office Manager to determine whether the client is suitable for any of our services. The postholder will also be responsible for managing a small team of volunteer assessors who will usually be placement students.

We’re looking for someone who is highly professional and conscientious in their work and will bring a high level of experience as a therapist assessing a wide range of individuals for different services.

Responsible for corporate hospitality, the Administrator will provide excellent in-person customer care for visitors to the organisation’s central London Hub and act a first point of contact via the organisation’s in-bound telephone hunt groups.

Working in support of the Office & Facilities Manager, you will ensure the implementation of the organisation’s health and safety procedures on daily basis and contribute more generally to the management and maintenance tasks of the Hub and the broader Crane Grove estate.

Dynamic and able to contribute either independently or as part of a team, you will work with a hands-on approach to establish and help maintain the systems needed to propel the organisation forward.

You will also assist the Engagement & Communications department with ongoing outreach projects, by contributing to periodic fundraising fulfilment tasks related to appeals mailings, and by supporting outward-bound telephone campaign tasks.
