Job description

Capital Campaign Lead - Special Events & Relationships
Location: Cambridge, Melbourn, or Norwich / Hybrid Working*
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Annual salary: £29,059 - £33,210 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term for three years

As Capital Campaign Lead for Special Events & Relationships, you will work with the Head of Philanthropy and Capital Appeals, and colleagues in the Philanthropy Team and across EAAA, to create and deliver a series of unique fundraising events in the private and public phases of the campaign.

You will be responsible for all aspects of these events, from the concept through to on-the-day delivery, including administration, budgeting, recruitment, logistics, and supporter experience.

But your engagement with campaign donors and prospects will not end there. You will also be responsible for cultivating relationships beyond the events, for identifying donor interests and making compelling asks, and for thanking and stewardship as the campaign progresses. You will also be instrumental in building the prospect pipeline, contributing to prospecting strategy meetings and conducting research as required.

With previous experience within the fundraising sector, you will have a proven track record in supporting the solicitation of gifts of £5,000+. You will have experience of managing projects with multiple stakeholders, forecasting, planning and setting KPIs, and working with CRM systems.

Recently named in 2023 as one of the ‘Best Places to Work’ in The Sunday Times national awards, you will be joining a truly inspirational organisation. EAAA not only operates with total patient focus but provides a supportive working environment where everyone can develop and make a difference – Together We Save Lives.

*Although based from any of our offices, you will need to spend time in Cambridgeshire to deliver the role.  Hybrid working allows for two days a week to be worked from home.

Closing date: Friday 26th April (9am)
Interviews: Interviews will take place the week commencing 29 April
