As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will be a core member of our friendly and busy Digital Marketing & Channels team.

The role
You will be:

- Reporting campaign performance to clients weekly and managing their expectations.
- Ensuring campaigns are running within agreed budgets.

- Providing training and technical support for users of our email marketing platform.
- Coaching colleagues across the wider organisation on digital marketing best practice.

The role
You will:
Be the first point of contact for enquiries from businesses who want support with accessibility and disability inclusion. Interpreting requests and signposting to the correct service, then cascading enquiries to the relevant delivery lead.
Manage existing delivery trackers in excel, tracking the delivery of the business services and the services costs.
Have responsibility for finance management of the team. For example, tracking invoices, income and budget. The role will work with Finance closely to ensure accounts are accurate and reflect various budget trackers.
Lead on small-scale projects and work autonomously to achieve project outputs while keeping key stakeholders up to date.
Support with the management and delivery of influencing events with businesses. Attend networking and partner events to promote the work of Scope and the Business Influencing team.

As Social Media Manager, you will be the social media expert at RNID and be responsible for creating exciting and meaningful content. The Social Media Manager in the Marketing and Communications team will focus and lead on:
- Being the go-to person for all paid and organic social media communications and help develop a forward-thinking social media strategy for the organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
As Research Communications Lead, you will use your knowledge of the medical research field and science communication experience and expertise to create a suite of research impact communications and stories.
In addition, you will build the base for the charity to confidently talk and communicate the difference that our funded research makes to the lives of people affected by sight loss. These stories should substantiate our position as leaders in funding ground-breaking and world-class research and be used in any instance where we need to demonstrate our research impact, from fundraising materials to our brand marketing.
Working with teams across the organisation, you will act as an advisor, keeping teams up to date on the cutting-edge research we’re funding and what it could mean for people affected by sight loss conditions as well as building relationships with the research community and our partners.

Role Responsibilities:
Strategic Research Communications
· Support the Head of Communications and External Affairs and Research Grants team, to develop and deliver a Communications Strategy that amplifies our reach and demonstrates our impact
· Work with the communications and fundraising teams to plan, prioritise and schedule research content
· You will liaise with external research partners and colleagues, to ensure relevant information is available for use when communicating with prospects and donors.

This is a new role, and is crucial to the development of the charity over the next three years. You will grow our brand, tell our story, and help develop relationships with partners, funders and the disability community.
We are looking for someone who has a natural flair for and an interest in communications, to develop and implement our aspirational plans, in particular through social media and the development of our website. We are looking for a dynamic content creator who can work independently, take initiative and proactively get our messages across to a wide audience across our various platforms.

Inclusion Barnet is Barnet’s Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisation (DDPO). All of the board and 80% of staff declare an impairment, and we’re passionate about using our lived experience of disability to work towards inclusive communities and greater social justice for all. This means that, in addition to our traditional services delivered by and for disabled people, we are a groundbreaking organisation working to demonstrate that as disabled people we can take a leadership role in our local community. In a world where disabled people are too often underestimated or written off, we need your help to tell this story.
We’re looking for a natural communicator who can tell our story in an accessible and compelling way. You’ll be able to think creatively, and grasp the bigger picture, whilst being comfortable keeping across routine but vital tasks such as producing newsletters and updating social media. You’ll take pride in making those outputs the best they can be, whilst also being comfortable briefing local journalists and telling our story. It’s required that you have your own lived experience of disability, which could include mental health issues or a long term condition. We also particularly welcome applications from global majority candidates, who are currently underrepresented at this level in our organisation.
Your role will focus on three of our projects: Healthwatch Barnet, which provides the local resident voice in health and social care; our work with the Barnet Together Alliance supporting the local voluntary sector; and the work of the NCL VCSE Alliance, which we currently chair.
To succeed, you will need solid communications and PR experience, and an ability to write fluent, interesting copy as well as a familiarity with social media and a basic understanding of design principles. In return, you will become part of a friendly and supportive team, working within a focused but flexible culture, where diversity is valued and you can bring your whole self to work.
This is a UK based role, and whilst much of it can be done from home, there is an expectation that you will be in Barnet two days a week. We encourage flexible working to suit your work/life balance preferences where possible. We also operate a Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) system.
