Main Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Management:

• Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the Charity's objectives and resonate with our target audience.
• Conduct thorough research to understand audience demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key messages and stories.
• Develop creative concepts, visuals, and messaging.
• Oversee the production of marketing materials.
• Evaluate campaign performance and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation

Digital Marketing and Content Creation:

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, website, and digital advertising, to maximise reach and engagement.
• Design and execute email marketing and donor campaigns.
• Optimise website content and user experience.
• Implement digital advertising campaigns across platforms.
• Generate compelling stories, testimonials, and case studies.
• Develop multimedia content and write persuasive copy for marketing materials, fundraising appeals, event promotions, and donor communications.

Brand Management, Data Analysis, and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
• Monitor brand mentions and sentiment online.
• Conduct periodic brand audits.
• Champion the Charity's brand values and mission.
• Set up tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
• Analyse data to assess campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards summarising campaign results, trends, and insights for internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and Communications, as well as the Digital Marketing Executive and Membership Acquisition, focusing on marketing and communications, with a particular emphasis on media and the Magazine.

Candidate Profile:

Transition Together is seeking to continue the work of deepening connection and growing the voice of the Transition Movement in England and Wales through the freelance engagement of three Network Weavers. This exciting project will see this team, supported by Transition Together staff, co-design an in person Transition Assembly early next year to guide the future of our Movement in the UK as well as build relationships with Transitioners across Wales and England and connect to emerging and established networks across the UK. Summary of duties: 

Our Communications and Engagement Officer will lead on the work of our new Community Hub project and promote all the great things that CfD does e.g. the events and activities as part of our Deaf People Together project.  The post holder will be based at The Vassall Centre, Gill Avenue, Fishponds, Bristol BS16 2QQ. 

This is an exciting opportunity to help CfD improve our communications, and to support the Deaf Community and hard of hearing people throughout Bristol with managing and sharing their information.  You will work with Deaf and hard of hearing people by providing the training, tools, and resources to enable them to create their own information materials that can be shared with the community. 

You will be responsible for developing and uploading website content, creating marketing material, use of social media and other communications platforms to help deliver the aims of our Community Hub project and to increase our community engagement and profile.  You will also lead on commissioning a redesign of our website. 

You will also have a role in supporting our Community Development Officer to arrange and publicise events. 

You will use your time in this way: 

• Half of your time on the Community Hub Project; 

• About a day a week supporting our Community Development Officer; 

• The rest of your time on promoting other projects and developing the CfD website. 

This is a role for a creative individual who is well organised and is proactive, who has the ambition to develop and deliver fun, engaging, and effective accessible communication. 

The main responsibilities are to: 

Community Hub 

1. Provide training for and support deaf volunteers to improve CfD’s capacity to produce and share relevant community information from across Bristol. You will organise workshops for deaf people to develop their skills in video and media technology to produce accessible content. 

1. Develop a virtual information hub, where information on CfD events and other activities in Bristol will be fully accessible to all deaf people, using CfD’s website, social media, apps, and newsletters. 

1. Support deaf people with producing their own newsletters using BSL and subtitles. Our aim is to have a regular newsletter that is produced and managed by deaf people. 

1. Develop a CfD “newsround” – a regular video round-up of events, news, and information of interest to deaf people. 

1. Work with 4 Community Hubs in Bristol to increase their accessibility for and engagement with deaf people in their neighbourhoods, and to increase their understanding of how to include deaf people in activities. This work will include collaborating to deliver deaf-focused events. 

Communications 

1. Support other projects at CfD with information dissemination, and media and communications, such as creating posters, video production, posting on social media, and basic updates on our website.

1. Improve the quality and reach of information that CfD sends out e.g. using other social media platforms. 

1. Support the CFD Community Development Officer by arranging and promoting events. 

1. Ensure compliance across all media with CfD’s brand guidelines. 

1. Lead on reviewing the CfD website and commissioning a new design. 

1. Coordinate any media enquiries. 

1. Collect data to analyse and evaluate the impact of the role. 

General 

1. Attend conferences, training, and other staff development opportunities.  

1. Develop an agreed personal training plan and carry this out using internal and external training as required. 

1. Adhere to and promote CfD’s policies and standards, especially the Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Communication policies. 

1. Act as an ambassador for CfD promoting a positive and professional image and attitude at all times.

Person specification 

The successful candidate will have had at least two years in a relevant communications role. 

You will have a pro-active approach and be committed to achieving results 

Essential skills, abilities and knowledge 

• A passion to communicate CfD’s values and to support the interests of the deaf and hard of hearing people that we work with. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users and hard of hearing people. This may be direct communication or through a BSL interpreter or speech-to-text operator.

• Ability to create high-quality communications material and to engage with a variety of audiences. 

• Experience of social media management and familiarity with evolving and new digital media platforms. 

• Ability to create graphics and images for communication materials. 

• Ability to produce video material, including filming and editing and adding including subtitles.

• Ability to think creatively.

• Ability to write clear content for social media and website pages

• Experience of training and supporting groups of people, either as part of paid work or as a volunteer. 

• Ability to form positive working relationships with other professionals and to  collaborate on projects. 

• Good influencing and negotiating skills so that you can persuade people to make their activities more inclusive of deaf people. 

• Good attention to detail. 

• Educated to A-Level standard, including Maths and English GCSEs. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer and/or journalist to tell the stories of SAT-7 and the people of the MENA in fresh and powerful ways. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, creative environment as part of the Communications & Resources Team, delivering high quality content across a range of platforms. You’d be writing engaging podcast and video scripts, informative press releases, powerful viewer testimonies, inspiring articles for our website or print magazine, political briefings, and attention-grabbing email copy. You’ll be one of the main points of contact with our international office and Middle Eastern TV studios, gathering and repurposing impactful stories and resourcing the wider UK team.

You’d also be responsible for making SAT-7 more widely known amongst UK Christians and churches, leaders and influencers, getting SAT-7’s stories and campaigns strategically placed across print, broadcast and digital press and media. Working closely with our external PR agency, you’ll help facilitate regular media opportunities with SAT-7 UK and international spokespeople, making sure they are well prepared for interviews with the press.

The Communications & Press Officer reports to the Communications & Resources Manager.

This role is a permanent role. The role is based in Chippenham but flexible working options are available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write engaging content for a range of platforms, in line with our “Read, Listen and Watch” strategy
• Demonstrate the life-changing impact of SAT-7 and the value of supporters’ financial giving
• Show how God is at work in the MENA, and mobilise increased prayer for the issues affecting different people groups and MENA Christians
• Inform supporters and the wider public about the context, news, challenges and opportunities for the MENA region and Church

The successful applicant will line-managed by and work closely with the Head of Practice Management (HoPM). It is essential though that they are self-motivated and can work independently.

Key tasks

• To establish and maintain a communications strategy and plan for Chambers, utilising the latest in digital communication methods.
• To manage the promotional activities of Chambers, its Practice Teams, and individual members, by managing and developing:
  • Its website and social media,
  • Webinars, podcasts and other digital training methods, 
  • In-person training and promotional events.
• To assist the HoPM by promoting Chambers to professional clients.
• To manage the promotion of Chambers via the media.
• To manage and promote engagement with legal associations, charities and NGOs to further the ethos and business of Chambers.
• To promote Chambers and its members to relevant legal directories.
• To assist with the development and promotion of campaigns organised or joined by Chambers.
• To undertake internal communication work building a culture of engagement across Chambers.

The above tasks will include:

• Identifying newsworthy cases and issues upon which Chambers may wish to engage, including through liaising closely with members of Chambers and the Practice Management Team (PMgT) to identify notable cases and issues upon which we may wish to engage.
• Working under the direction of the HoPM to assist in the practice development of individual members.
• Engaging barrister members and pupils to produce high quality training and promotional material for the website and social media, including content production such as webinars, podcasts and vlogs.
• Ensuring the website is:
  • Accessible, attractive, interesting and as useful as possible to our professional and lay clients,
  • Optimised to achieve top search engine ranking,
  • Up to date, with members’ pages regularly reviewed, and news items frequently added,
  • A source of training materials and information relating to our work and ethos, including webinars, vlogs, blogs and ‘how to’ guides.
• Ensuring a variety of social media platforms are utilised to optimise the footprint of Chambers, and to promote news about Chambers’ cases and other activities as quickly, professionally and as widely as possible.
• Identifying potential new clients to the PMgT and assisting them in the promotion of Chambers.
• Maintaining and developing professional client contact lists, mailing lists and databases, in conjunction with the Practice Teams and PMgT.
• Coordinating, advertising and managing training and promotional events in conjunction with Practice Teams and the PMgT.  This to include maximising outcomes from events.
• Liaising with outside bodies, including legal associations, charities and NGOs to promote the engagement of members of Chambers and the standing of Chambers as a whole.
• Managing the use of Chambers seminar facilities for ethos-compatible third-party events.
• In conjunction with the HoPM and individual members, coordinating and drafting submissions to legal directories.
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with journalists, media outlets and prominent actors in the human rights field to optimise the exposure of members and Chambers as a whole.

Person Specification

The individual will have:

The successful applicant will be confident and articulate, and may have relevant experience in the NGO, international organisation, development or charity sector.  A general understanding of the way the legal profession is organised and works will be helpful but not essential.

Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis. 

We are always working to provide resources to help, support and empower patients. Ideal Candidate: 

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and driven Senior Corporate Partnerships Executive to join our team in this integral and newly created role. The role will lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, and developing and managing a pipeline of strategic corporate partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with corporate partners, understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work.

Key responsibilities:

· Identify and nurture relationships with prospective corporate partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR.

· Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective corporate partners.

· Work closely with PCR's delivery departments and other income streams to identify, develop and maximise income generation opportunities.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling funding proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and objectives of corporate partners.

· Lead negotiations and secure funding support from corporate partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work.

· Effectively manage project monitoring and reporting for PCR’s existing funded activities with corporate partners, including regular communication, reporting, and public recognition of contributions (as appropriate), working closely with PCR’s delivery and communications teams.

· Stay informed of industry trends, corporate philanthropy initiatives, and relevant developments to inform partnership strategies and opportunities.

· Represent PCR at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities and expand our network within the corporate sector.

Skills and experience:
