This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role leading the delivery of key events to support UAL’s first major fundraising campaign.
As Head of Events you will have responsibility for the events strategy and delivery within the Development department at UAL. Working with the support of an Events Manager and an Events Officer, you will provide a central hub of expertise for events management for high-profile external audiences, primarily to advance the fundraising and relationship management goals of the Development department and the wider Social Purpose Group.
You will work with the Director of Development, the Head of Campaign and other senior colleagues to lead on the planning, development and implementation of a programme of events in support of UAL’s first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign, which is expected to deliver a £75 million pound fundraising target to support UAL’s strategic priorities.
In addition to this, you will lead on the project management and strategic delivery of UAL's most important institutional events, including graduation ceremonies for 8,000+ students and their guests, and UAL’s all-staff summer party.
About you
You will need significant experience of leading and delivering events in a fundraising environment, such as gala dinners and bespoke cultivation and stewardship events.
You will also need experience of devising an events programme in collaboration with colleagues and setting and meeting objectives for a programme of events.
Demonstrable knowledge or understanding of arts and culture is equally important.

We are recruiting for an interim HR Advisor to join a non- profit organisation based in South London, for a fixed term contract of 4 months. Working closely with the Head of HR and wider HR team, this role will provide valuable support whilst other hiring to the team is taking place.
Your role will be varied and include supporting the Head of HR with management of and advising on first stage ER process such as sickness cases, disciplinary and grievances, ensuring consistency and with a timely approach. You will also be advising staff and managers on issues relating to employee lifecycle, assisting with the re-tender of Occupational Health and EAP provider and helping develop a new job evaluation process. The National Paralympic Heritage Trust (NPHT) has embarked on a new exciting 5-year Strategy – ‘Becoming Seamlessly Inclusive 2023-2028’. To help us on this journey this is an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Trust’s Team Diversity Officer a central and key role to the 5-year strategy and as such our operation and success. Role of the Team Diversity Officer
Overall
- To support diversity development and 'Power to the Peoples Framework' across the work of the Trust.
- To oversee volunteering, work placements, Access to Work plus schemes and act as a work coach to two neurodiverse trainees.
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the volunteer programme with support from the Head of Programmes.

- Either party may, by written notice to the other, require the holding of a special meeting to discuss any matter of urgency or exceptional importance relating to this agreement.

Contract fee/pay
- The proposed fee is £25,000 a year Pro rata 3 days a week (24 hours).
- In addition to the payment outlined above the Team Diversity Officer will be paid reasonable agreed expenses incurred subject to the supply of receipts/travel expense claim and a stakeholder pension.

Role of the Marketing and Communications Officer
Overall
We are seeking a person with marketing and communications expertise to help us build our audiences physically and virtually.
In this role you will:
- Lead on the delivery of key marketing objectives as set out in the marketing plan for 2023 to 2028.

About the role

Job Description
The role of Service Coordinator is an exciting opportunity to oversee a team of Caseworkers, ensuring that they provide first class to support, to young people who are at risk of child exploitation, or have for a time been missing from home.
This role will assist the Service Manager to establish strategic links in the area, with key partners and other stakeholders, with a view to promoting and continually enhancing the service. We are co-located within a multi-agency team, tackling missing and child exploitation, so you'll have a great opportunity to develop your networks and expertise within the sector.
The cases that we work on are complex and challenging, but are making a difference in the lives of those that access our services. We've completed over 1500 return home interviews, helping to prevent further missing episodes. We've also supported over 130 young people through a programme of direct work, tailored to their individual needs.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Relevant professional qualification in youth/community work, social care, health or education.
- Able to manage across a wide geographical area, ensuring that preventative and reactive services are provided to children and young people at risk.
- Experience of working directly with young people who present with complex needs.
- Experience in managing casework, including assessment, action planning and reviews.
- Ability to engage and work in partnership with a variety of external agencies, to achieve agreed outcomes.
- A full driving licence and access to own vehicle with business use.

Salary: £31,200 per annum
Hours of work: Full time, 37 hours per week*

Location: This role can be based in either our Knowsley, Liverpool, or St. Helens office (with regular travel across the region required).

About you
As our New Product Marketing Manager, you will scale our innovative new product, Wonderbooks. As a marketing manager with a creative mindset and entrepreneur spirit, you will lead on the scaling of this unique subscription product. You will also have ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle including developing new ways to engage our current audience.
80% of this role will focus on scaling Wonderbooks. The other 20% will be working with the wider team across our exciting innovation pipeline, working to research, ideate and test compelling ideas to generate new income for Save the Children.
In this role, you will:
- Re-launch and scale the product Wonderbooks across a range of marketing channels (in particular paid social, email, display and direct mail) including leading and delivering our artist and influencer strategy.
- Lead on new creative positioning for Wonderbooks ensuring it's optimised and reflected across all touchpoints
- Own the end-to-end customer journey
- Manage external suppliers ensuring the monthly fulfilment of the product
- Support Innovation & Development Leads to develop and deliver our innovation pipeline focused on audience engagement and income generation. Accountable for delivering key parts of innovation cycles to take ideas from insight, through ideation, prototyping and launch to help significantly grow income and engage new audiences.
- Plan and deliver project management of several portfolio projects at any one time, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met and timelines are clearly communicated to deliver excellent outcomes.
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Significant experience in testing digital products, digital marketing, tracking and analytics, and prototyping.
- Expertise in conducting or partnering with agencies/internal staff for audience research interviews, workshops, ideation sessions, and sprint delivery.
- Knowledge and evidence of leading and partnering on key parts of innovation cycles, including research, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
- Keen interest in new technical innovations, demonstrable experience of data-led decision-making, and adaptable thinking.
- Proven ability to deliver operational plans on time and within budget.
- Understanding of fundraising marketing delivery and practices (desirable, not essential).

Our Merseyside Missing From Home or Care Service provides critical specialist support services, that are designed to build understanding, and promote resolution, of complex difficulties that lead to young people becoming missing from home or care. Working in liaison with young people, their families, and the police, we build understanding and provide robust preventative support to young people who are at risk of:

Funded by a Development Grant of £600k+ and an expected Delivery Grant of £3m by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), St Anne’s Limehouse has embarked on a fundraising Campaign to repair and conserve its heritage asset, make the building accessible to all, and transform it into a community and partnership hub to engage its diverse local communities and partners.
The role of the Events & Digital Fundraising Manager is to manage a few high profile events and launch the campaign via a range of marketing initiatives amongst local communities, community and partner organisations, and national/local Media. This will include creating and managing online fundraising facilities across social media platform, organising events, and developing digital fundraising campaigns with the aim of generating £300k from sponsorships, donations, and ticket sales.
The Campaign Office is currently made up of the Campaign Director, and Financial Controller & Admin Officer. The team works closely with the Campaign Chair (the Rector) and the Campaign Board.
This is a hybrid position, and the postholder is expected to work from St Anne’s Limehouse two days a week.
