The main purpose of the role is to provide broad administrative support within the Fundraising Department, assist with the planning and execution of the annual events programme and provide supporter care for donors. You will also provide effective processing of donations, Fellows renewals and memberships, appeal administration, donor thanking and the updating of records

Whilst the role is predominantly remote, you will need to attend a handful of events and possibly travel to a few locations, however travel and accommodation can be made for you.

I am excited to be working with an amazing health organisation in search of an Interim Services and Innovation Project Manager for 3 – 6 months. Full-time or part-time (4 days a week) will be considered for this Bristol based hybrid role.

As Project Manager your role will be to support the delivery of a number of key organisation activities and objectives. Data and Reporting - collation, data analysis, setting up surveys and using a variety of tools to analyse and present data in an engaging way visually.

Highly digitally and IT confident – especially ppt and visual tool suites like canva, excel.

Report Writer - notes of meetings, discussions, summarising actions and tracking them.

Other varied tasks - related to our support and information service provision e.g. delegation of tasks related to two restricted funded projects, cross team activity like away days and meetings, general administration (like meeting set up/ organising/ research).

The Role

As our PR Manager, you will take a central role in raising the profile and awareness of Yorkshire Cancer Research and the work of the charity.

Reporting to the Head of Communications & Engagement, our PR Manager will develop engaging, relevant and powerful content for new and existing audiences across Yorkshire, and beyond.

Specifically, you will:

· Plan and deliver innovative and engaging media events and activities in support of the charity’s public relationship strategy.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· A degree or equivalent professional experience in Public Relations, Journalism, English or Communications.

· Significant experience in a media/PR environment, preferably with experience of managing others within this environment. Experience of planning or leading PR or media campaigns.

· Excellent computer literacy, with extensive knowledge of MS Office applications.

· An understanding of the media and social media landscape, and their relationship with charity PR.

· An understanding or appreciation of the charity sector, the priorities and the challenges.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Our client, a leading London university is looking to appoint a temporary Systems Administrator, to provide general ledger systems administration, including cost centres and hierarchies, and other standing data for their finance system, SunAccounts.

This is a full time hybrid role, with 2 days on site, running for 6-8 weeks in the first instance.

Other duties will include:

• Set-up and maintain expenses user accounts on the expenses management system and related creditor accounts on the core finance system.
• Maintain and create new staff user accounts and set access permissions on the procure-to-pay system.
• Set-up new user accounts for the central finance staff on SUN Accounts and Infor Vision Q&A reporting tool.
• Act as 1st line of support for any finance system access requests and queries.

Duties

Grants assessment and management:

• Process grant applications. This includes:

o Visiting, meeting and corresponding with applicants.

o Reviewing, requesting and analysing relevant information.

o Providing feedback on unsuccessful applications.

o Preparing written recommendations for submission to the Board and presenting at Board meetings.

• Monitor progress on grants awarded.

• Ensure the timely and accurate recording of activities and transactions with applicants and grantees through the Trust’s database, Salesforce CRM.

Specific duties vary by programme but generally include keeping data current, ensuring staff have relevant access rights and permissions, and backing up data on a regular basis. Training will be provided on all of these systems.

• Manage the Trust’s subscriptions and memberships (e.g. Association of Charitable Foundations, ICO).

• Maintain the Trust’s register of interests.

• Prepare Board papers and Minutes (printing, binding and posting papers).

• Update 360giving with the Trust’s grants data (training will be provided).

• Support meetings (circulating calendar invitations, booking meeting space, organising catering and on-the-day setup and close down).

• General office duties including keeping the office stocked with stationery and tea/coffee and welcoming visitors to the Trust. Lead on the office security systems and dealing with contractors.

Skills and Qualifications

o Financial documents (including charity accounts, management accounts, cashflow forecasts and project budgets).

My client is a small but ambitious membership body working across the UK’s vibrant theatre sector. Currently in the early stages of embedding a new vision and mission, they are looking to their back office functions to ensure they are fit for the organisation’s exciting new strategy.

As such they are looking to recruit an interim Project Accountant to lead on a review of the organisation’s accounting processes and controls including financial accounting, management reporting, capital investment plans and pensions.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a track record of working in the Not-for-Profit space. Comfortable with working on a change programme, you will enjoy the variety of tasks outside of business as usual.

The Role

This role will ensure the organisation is following robust financial systems and processes; carry out all day-to-day accounting tasks; and ensure timely production of financial information to inform management decisions. Most tasks can be done from home, however some tasks such as banking and petty cash reconciliation will require you to attend our offices. Once the initial training is complete you will be able to arrange your own hours, to be worked Monday to Friday.

This role is for a fixed period of 12 months, to cover maternity leave.

About You

A proven track record of relevant financial administration experience is essential and competence in the use of Xero accounting software, Excel and other MS packages such as word and Outlook is essential. You will have an organised approach to workload and ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, be flexible and adapt to the requirements of the role. You must be able to clearly convey financial information to non-finance colleagues.

38% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. Chapter One is a fast-growing charity, with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive. We work to ensure that all children have 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.

Our Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) programme (based on a model that serves 20,000 children successfully in the USA) provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Literacy Interventionist works individually with target children. 

We are seeking a part-time Early Literacy Interventionist (ELI), based at Galleywall Primary School in Southwark, South London. This ELI role, reporting to the Schools Development Manager, is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow their knowledge of phonics and/or their teaching skill set. It is ideal for someone with previous school experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.

For your caseload of target children, you will conduct an initial baseline assessment and then deliver differentiated, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach. Although you are employed by Chapter One, you will work closely with the school team to understand the progression of the school’s phonics teaching; establish tailored plans for each child and feedback on pupil progress. Using your knowledge and insight, you will also collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.

About the role:

The primary role of the project is to enable clients to understand their emotional and mental health needs and manage these effectively. The Project Worker will also support clients to develop their living skills, develop & manage relationships, build social networks and access education, training or employment, by completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments with clients and identifying short-term objectives.

The projects provide support 24 hours a day and are staffed by a Night Concierge and Project Workers, this requires regular weekend working. All work undertaken will be in line with planned support. Staff are responsible for making sure that clients are actively involved in the process and that the support offered is full and holistic.

• Demonstrable experience of working with people experiencing mental health problems and other complex needs.
• A demonstrable understanding of Mental Health Legislation and how it can be applied.
• A good understanding of safeguarding issues and the ability to undertake comprehensive risk assessments related to this.
• A working knowledge of Housing Management as applied to a residential setting, and an understanding of the rights and responsibilities associated with various forms of tenure including excluded licenses.

The Community Builder role focuses on making connections within the community and facilitating local community groups to develop activities and events. This role focuses specifically on engaging younger adults (16 - 30 yrs) and is expected to work closely with existing staff and other community builders in the local area.

Main Purpose of Role

·To work with local community groups and individuals using an asset-based approach, to help them become more active in their local communities

·To engage with local communities within Pershore and its surrounds using an ‘strengths based’ approach, with particular focus on younger adults who are socially isolated

·Facilitate social events, community meetings and ideas fairs at PRC and in the local area to support residents in developing their own programme of activities

·Gather stories, data, outcomes and other evidence of impact for both formal reporting and promotional use

·In collaboration with the Centre Manager develop and deliver a marketing and communications plan which amplifies the local impact of the Community Builder programme and the profile of PRC more widely – with particular emphasis on digital marketing
