* Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy focusing on cultivation of existing and growth of new partnerships.
* Identify, prospect and secure new six-figure plus corporate partnerships.
* Budget, forecast and deliver against fundraising targets and monitor expenditure.
* Provide excellent levels of support, stewardship, and communication to corporate supporters, providing bespoke opportunities and engagements for each partner.
* Draft and deliver against corporate partnership account plans, identifying areas of growth.
* Build a positive team culture and working environment.

The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for raising unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters through a range of channels. You will also be managing the content and design of supporter materials, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify captivating marketing material.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious fundraiser who can work independently within a small team when needed. You will have demonstrable experience in income generation and end to end development of campaigns, in retention or acquisition, or both.
This is a permanent role with a salary of £32k – £36k which offers hybrid working from their offices in Brixton (London) three days a week.

Hand in Hand are a lean operation, with 90% of all funds raised being spent directly on programmes in 2023-2024. You will play an important part in maximising funds raised for Hand in Hand, contributing to long-term success.
Reporting directly to Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the primary objective of the role is to manage existing grants and accounts, secure new funding and manage a Philanthropy and Partnerships Officer.
Your key focus will be identifying, creating relationships with and securing donations from corporate and family Trusts and Foundations and/or major donors. The role is highly international, working with colleagues across Afghanistan, Kenya and Tanzania, and a prospect base spread across globe.
Key responsibilities
- Grow income securing five- and six-figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations (60%) Corporate (30%) and Major Donors (10%) supporting an income target of £1.8m.
- Drive the expansion of Hand in Hand’s income by securing significant gifts ranging from five to seven figures from both new and existing donors.
- Engage senior-level donors through calls, meetings, and events to provide updates on project advancements and identify additional donation opportunities.
- Collaborate with UK-based colleagues and in-country teams in the creation of comprehensive proposals, including narrative content, logical frameworks, and budgets.
Ideal experience
- Proven experience in high value fundraising across, trusts, corporate or major donor.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with donors, and ultimately securing, as part of a team, successful asks of five or six figure gifts from UK and/or non-UK based donors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.

- Extensive experience as a Major Donor fundraiser or transferrable commercial experience in cultivating and securing major gifts or sales, with a demonstrable track record of success
- A track record of identifying, cultivating and generating multi-year income, managing high-value donors or senior clients
- Experience of delivering stewardship and cultivation events
- Excellent persuasive interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and nurture long-term relationships

About the role:
You'll play a key role in ensuring MAG's new global fundraising strategy becomes a reality, by developing and implementing multi-channel individual giving campaigns in the US and UK. The ambition is to significantly transform and grow unrestricted income from individual and mid-level donors and legacies.
It's a heady mix of creativity blended with hands-on delivery and implementation, as well as leadership of a small fundraising team (IG Officer and Global Legacy Coordinator).
About you:
Working collaboratively with the Head of Public Fundraising, you'll drive forward the strategic growth of a global individual giving programme. Utilising upgraded investment to build the donor base, you'll aim to improve supporter retention and loyalty and maximise lifetime value.
You'll need in-depth technical knowledge of direct marketing and legacy fundraising techniques, with experience of delivering in the UK or USA. You can adapt your approach and communication style for different audiences and understand the nuance of operating in global markets with differing needs.

We are looking for a Supporter Engagement Officer for an incredible international development charity. This is a brand new role and will be focused on proactively growing and mobilising a regional network of supporters and volunteers.
This can be a home based role with regular travel required throughout the Essex and the East London region.
