As Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will be responsible for securing income from Trusts and Foundations in the UK and from international and institutional donors. You will manage a portfolio of UK and International Trusts and Foundations, Livery companies and other Grant Making Bodies to ensure applications and reports are submitted according to agreed schedules. You will write high quality and compelling grant funding applications, in line with the requirements of potential funders You will also identify and research national and international Trusts and Foundations and other grant making Bodies who have the potential to make a wide range of donations to the organisation.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Proven expertise in maintaining current and cultivating new relationships with Trusts and Foundations.
• Proven track record of success in generating and growing income streams from Trusts and Foundations and other Grant Making Bodies.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write compelling and persuasive cases for support from funders

As the Trusts and Fundraising Officer, you will maximise income from trusts by the creation of high-quality applications and reports to funders, and by providing excellent account management and cross-team collaboration. As a Fundraiser, you will be based onsite at various venues and build relationships with the public to raise vital funds through bucket collections to support your assigned charity. You will be supported with full training and equipment for the role and be raising funds through cash and card donations whilst also raising awareness for your assigned charity. With venues across the North West, there are various locations where this role can be based including, Manchester, Preston, Liverpool, Leeds and others.

To be successful as a Fundraiser, you will have strong relationship building skills and be motivated to raise funds for meaningful causes. Ideally this person will have either some sales experience or fundraising experience. This could be from personal fundraisers such as gaining sponsorship for a challenge event, bake sales, or any other type of group or self-led fundraiser. This role will need to be available to work some Saturdays and there is daily travel of 30-90 minutes.

This role is a full-time permanent position that will be based in the North West region, dependent on your location. There is a base pay rate of £70 per day, as well as 35% commission on any funds you have raised each day.

Special Events Officer
Temporary - 2 months +
Pay: £16.48 plus £1.99 holiday pay per hour
Location: London - 2 days in the office, the rest remote

Charity People are seeking a Special Events Officer to join a humanitarian charity to help assist with some upcoming events, as well as other general event administration. The role will start as soon as possible and require two days per week in their London office, whilst you can work the rest remotely if preferred. This is a 35-hour week role, which can be worked flexibly if required. There is a chance this role could become permanent for the successful temporary post holder. At this time, they really require someone with charity events experience to come in and keep things ticking over nicely. Working in a small Special Events Team of three people, including the successful postholder, you will be assisting with various tasks to ensure the upcoming events are well planned for, and executed.

The temporary role is paying £16.48 plus £1.99 holiday pay.

The key tasks the role will include:

* Gift In Kind requests & management of suppliers
* Sponsorship requests & management of companies
* Prize asks & administration connected to the requests
* Design of Event Programme - collation of content and working with their Designer

The Role

You will work within the brilliant Supporter Fundraising Team and meet overall income targets with your colleagues.

The selected candidate will have experience of working in direct marketing with good working knowledge of donor recruitment, retention and development. You will have experience of working in a fundraising environment and ideally have experience of preparing and managing annual plans and budgets. You will ideally like to keep up to date with individual giving fundraising trends and look to increase your skills and experience in this vital area of fundraising for Willow.
