About the role
You will oversee all phases of our funded services and programmes, working at senior management level. This role will be a driver of change, leading on all our funded services and the development of CAHF Innovation Hub which aims to test and pilot ideas on a small scale. We want to continue to evolve our services with the aim of increasing the reach and the impact of our work. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering project(s) in the Advice Sector or demonstrable transferable skills, including:
- Collaborating positively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to maintain cohesive project delivery.
- Working with the Chief Officer to assess and review opportunities for securing new programmes of activities to strengthen our response to the community advice needs.
- Working with CAHF’s Advice Service Managers to ensure robust line management for project staff.
- Monitoring and reporting on project performance to KPIs to required quality standards.
- Manage conflicting priorities to ensure that objectives are achieved and deadlines are met.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Children and Young People’s Solicitor and Senior Caseworker at Asylum Aid, you will primarily work with unaccompanied asylum-seeking child (UASC) and young people (under 25), providing end to end representation on their asylum, human rights and trafficking claims. You may also undertake age dispute challenges and other judicial review work on behalf of your clients. You will combine this work, which will account for approximately 70% of your time, with conducting other immigration matters, including adult asylum claims, family reunion applications and statelessness applications. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider work of the Asylum Aid team, delivering high quality legal services on the full range of protection and trafficking issues that affect migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. You will conduct asylum casework under legal aid funding, with a specialist focus on representing unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people, and contribute to policy and strategic legal work to promote the rights of children and young people in the asylum system.
You will be a qualified solicitor or Immigration caseworker with IAAS Level 2/Senior Caseworker accreditation and have significant experience in publicly funded immigration work under a Legal Aid Agency Contract. You should have, or be able to obtain, Level 2 Children Safeguarding.
As is the nature of this sector, the role will be exposed to a high volume of traumatic and distressing material and, whilst they will be supported by the Asylum Aid Director, supervisors and the surrounding team, they should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of good self-care principles in an intense work environment.

We’re looking for Support Workers to join our team. You will be working with a team of highly motivated compassionate and dedicated colleagues supporting a caseload of vulnerable customers who are recovering from mental health issues. Together you will deliver a high quality and effective support service which promotes the independence, wellbeing and inclusion of our customers.

What we’re looking for:
- The right values and empathy to work with our residents
- Experience and/or knowledge in supporting people who have a mental health illness or are vulnerable
- Experience or knowledge of how to support residents to manage their tenancy/accommodation, promoting recovery and independence
- Great IT (Word/Excel) and communication skills.

Join our team as a Volunteering Business Partner! You will play a pivotal role across all stages of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association’s volunteer journey, ensuring our amazing volunteers have a sector-leading experience.
Your role is all about supporting, developing, and implementing effective volunteer practices throughout the Association. You'll offer expert guidance and support to staff across the organisation, ensuring our volunteers are led and managed to the highest standards. You will work in partnership with staff and volunteers to develop plans to recruit new volunteers and ensure our existing volunteers can make a meaningful impact for people living with and affected by MND.
You’ll also be instrumental in enhancing the capability of our staff in volunteer leadership and management. Partnering with our People Development Team, you'll develop resources and learning opportunities to empower our team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Innovation and improvement are key aspects of this role. Engaging with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders, you'll identify areas of improvement, develop tools and approaches that enhance the experience for volunteers and the staff who lead them.
A key aspect of this role will be to spend time and engage with volunteers to understand challenges and collaborate to find solutions.
We’re always developing our volunteering offer, and this means managing change through our staff and volunteer teams. You’ll support staff and volunteers with the implementation of transformational projects.

You will have knowledge and experience of the volunteering sector, volunteer leadership and management practices. You will excel in building and developing positive relationships, both with volunteers and staff, and possess a collaborative approach.
Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal. You will have the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups including volunteers, staff and external partners.
We're looking for an organised, proactive problem-solver who can navigate challenges with creativity and adaptability.
