About the Role

• You will manage and lead a 24-hour 16-18 bed new therapeutic support & accommodation service for women from across South London who have experienced homelessness and severe and multiple disadvantage.  
• You will lead and develop a team that is focused on building trust through relationships, so that every woman who is supported gets the person-led, trauma and gender-informed support they need in a place they can call home. 
• You are a dynamic, inspirational and capable leader, who proactively supports and enables the team to utilise their strengths and work collaboratively to meet the different needs and aspirations of the women we support.

The purpose of the Roma Outreach Worker role is to deliver an effective service to single people who are currently rough sleeping. This post will actively support Roma clients, providing a continued and consistent point of contact whilst assisting them in navigating the various change pathways available to them.

We are looking for a Recovery Support Worker to join our passionate, and dedicated team in Hounslow. In this role you will support some of the most vulnerable individuals in the borough, helping them identify their individual strengths and aspirations.

The Hounslow LIFE service is a large multi-site service with a large team of colleagues with specialisms in Homelessness, Substance Use and Mental Health to provide a recovery based approach to 86 clients across our different sites.  

In the role of Recovery Support Worker, you will: 

• Work with clients on their road to recovery, aiding clients to gain the necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation.  

• Provide support to maintain independence in the community, build their skills for employment, manage their health needs, and look towards a brighter future.  

• Oversee housing management responsibilities to ensure we deliver safe, high-quality services. 

In this role you will work on a weekly shift rota including early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. Staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

About the Role: This is an interesting and varied role. As the post holder you'll be not only be setting up, administering and delivering schemes and activities to benefit Barnet’s looked after young people, you'll also be creating marketing materials and supporting fundraising events.  Promoting the work of our charity is key too through updating our website, writing our quarterly newsletter and social media channels, as well as supporting the running and administration of the charity. 

About You:

ABOUT YOU

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day management of the service desk system.
• Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support requests and take ownership of end-user requests.
• Manage the full process of computer provisioning. 
• Undertake scheduled maintenance to ensure all computers are patched with important software and system updates.
• Administer Microsoft 365 admin centres, software systems, operating systems, applications, directory services, and any other updates and additional tasks related to system administration.
• Support with the onboarding process, ensure new starters have the correct log ins, equipment, and relevant training as necessary.
• Engage with staff to understand their needs and support our employees in the use of computer systems and applications.
• Learn and manage other digital programs within the organisation and support training and development for all staff and smaller teams where required.

Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position. Please further refer to JDPS attached. 

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Appropriate academic/professional qualification: Minimum of GCSE, BTEC, and/or A-Level qualification in IT, English and Mathematics
• Experience of managing Microsoft Windows client operating systems – Windows 10/11
• Experience of administering and managing Microsoft 0365 admin centres
• Excellent problem-solving ability with a methodical and logical approach, able to work proactively to resolve challenges and mitigate further issues
• IT Proficiency at advanced level, ability to learn new software’s with ease and able to deliver training and support to others

What we would like, but not essential:

• Experience of working in first-, and second-line roles within agreed Service Level Agreements
• Experience in a similar support/service delivery environment, supporting with issues and incident management
• Additional professional Microsoft certifications
• Experience within a similar role in a similar sized and type of organisation

Dementia Wellbeing Worker 

Age UK Camden Dementia Wellbeing Service is looking to recruit a Dementia Wellbeing Worker to join their team working 35 hours per week on a permanent basis. 

The Dementia Wellbeing Service is part of our specialist dementia services and works closely with the Dementia Befriending Service.

The service supports Camden residents over the age of 55 in the early or moderate stages of dementia, to live independently and safely at home for as long as possible, stay socially engaged and carry on doing what they love.  

The successful candidate will: 

• Offer a holistic and person-centered assessment for people living with mild cognitive impairment or Dementia to ensure meaningful interventions.

• Manage a case load of clients, providing practical and emotional support to the most isolated and vulnerable in our community.

• Provide information, advice and support to carers (family/friends), health/social care professionals and other voluntary organisations and to disseminate knowledge and best practice so that individuals living with cognitive impairment in relation to dementia or undiagnosed dementia have the best care possible.  
   

• Maintain accurate and appropriate records via Charity Log database and in accordance with UKGDPR. 

Salary: £33,525.36 to £34,743.24 pa incl. London Weighting.

We are seeking a Finance Officer with a keen eye for detail, and an aptitude for learning new skills, to take on purchase ledger and payroll administration duties in our Finance Department.   You will have either begun on the path of attaining a financial qualification or had some experience in a similar role.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all purchases, payments and returns, including supplier invoices, staff payments (salaries, expenses and advances), project and contractor payments and credit card transactions.  Responsible for project reporting against budget.

Key responsibilities (full responsibilities listed in the application pack):

• Ownership of the purchase ledger system, administering the entire process of invoice receiving, checking, coding, distributing for approval, posting to the accounts software (currently Sage), setting up domestic and international payments for authorisation, and electronic filing of documents.
• Administering all credit card returns including distribution of statements to colleagues, checking and coding returns, collating documents, submitting for line-manager approval, posting to Sage and following up on outstanding items.
• Administering staff and contractors expense claims, advances, returns and funds transfer requests, including checking and coding, submitting for budget-holder approval, arranging payment both domestic and international, and electronic filing of documents.
• Recording project expenditure against budget and drafting project financial returns to meet funder deadlines.

• Either started on a financial qualification or have had experience in a similar role
• Exposure to SAGE Line50 or other accounting package.
• Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
