Job description

Commercial Finance Manager

Permanent Position

£50,000 - £54,000 Salary.

Remote working with occasional meeting in London.

The client is a UK Charity with a sizeable retail division.

  • Finance Business Partner for the charities retail operations (budget approx. £22m)
  • FP&A team/resource planning and manager of analysis team
  • Overall responsibility for production of management accounts working with the Head of Finance.
  • Deliver a finance business partner function for Retail operations, supporting senior management in Retail and Finance and developing a deep knowledge of the business, detailed cost structures (including salaries) and income streams
  • Meet regularly with the retail team to discuss and understand financial results and business strategy and planning
  • Oversee the production and monitoring of budgets and provide constructive challenge to understand budget, forecast and actual results
  • Responsible (with assistance from the FP&A analysis team) for production of detailed and timely management information for the retail team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Produce forecasts as required and take responsibility for their accuracy
  • Review the information and systems used and recommend improvements for reporting content and efficiency.
