Location: Homebased with monthly team meetings in central London
As Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Manager, you will lead on the development, management and implementation of evaluation and learning activities.
Working closely with the Programme Manager and Head of Innovation, you will enable the charity to capture insights and learning in relation to the design and delivery of their support offer and analyse data and surface learning around the detail of projects with specific attention to scaling up innovation.
In this newly created role, you will play a central role in shaping the organisational approach to MEL, enabling ongoing reflection and adaptation to drive continuous improvement, and support the embedding of learning in relation to social care innovation and improvement across the charity.
The successful candidate will have significant MEL experience in the charitable sector, Health and Social Care, or Social Change space including both MEL delivery and capacity building and will have proven ability to shape, sustain and lead on MEL activity requiring collaboration with a range of different stakeholders, creating appropriately robust but flexible processes and structures. Technical expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies and the implications of their use for organisations of different scales and in different contexts is vital, as is experience of designing and delivering workshops and training for diverse audiences.

I am excited to be working with an amazing health organisation in search of an Interim Services and Innovation Project Manager for 3 – 6 months. Full-time or part-time (4 days a week) will be considered for this Bristol based hybrid role.
As Project Manager your role will be to support the delivery of a number of key organisation activities and objectives. Around 50% of time will be focused on proposition development with the remaining time on delegated tasks to support the Acting Director across other areas of their responsibility and the organisations suite of support services.
Key role and responsibilities:
Project Manager - a series of innovation sprints, aiming to develop new (support service focussed) fundable propositions for the organisation. Keeping the project on track, to deadline, meeting key deliverables.
Senior Administrator - including scheduling and diary management, project management tools, monitoring and systems.
Researcher – able to confidently conduct desk-based research, sector scoping, research with internal and external stakeholders.
Data and Reporting - collation, data analysis, setting up surveys and using a variety of tools to analyse and present data in an engaging way visually.
Highly digitally and IT confident – especially ppt and visual tool suites like canva, excel.
Report Writer - notes of meetings, discussions, summarising actions and tracking them.
Other varied tasks - related to our support and information service provision e.g. delegation of tasks related to two restricted funded projects, cross team activity like away days and meetings, general administration (like meeting set up/ organising/ research).

Context and Responsibilities within this role:
- Creating and implementing a strategic targeted program of Mid Value, Major Donors, HNWI’s, Corporates, Trusts and Foundations fundraising.
- Developing and implementing tailored funding applications, with responsibility for ensuring compliance in any agreements;
- To nurture individual and corporate relationships with a view to securing fundraising opportunities in excess of £5k;
- To create opportunities to meet and develop existing relationships with supporters;
They are now looking for:
- Extensive experience of managing major donor programs and an understanding of fundraising and marketing within animal welfare and international organisations.
- A confident fundraiser with broad experience on fundraising principles, major donor programs and corporate giving;
- Substantial experience in developing corporate relationships;
- Excellent written communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills including presenting, negotiating and influencing;
- Proficiency in Excel, and other Microsoft office tools and working knowledge of CRM systems preferably Raisers Edge.

This position will lead on the management and development of projects and campaigns to acquire new and increase the value and loyalty of existing supporters across both digital and direct channels. You will be responsible for a portfolio of Individual Giving Fundraising across single, regular, prize-led, payroll, legacy and in-memory giving.
You will work closely with team members to develop supporter journeys and digital acquisition to grow acquisition and retention rates.
This varied role will involve briefing, monitoring and managing stakeholder relationships for Individual Giving campaigns and projects to ensure effective financial management, data management, supporter care, supporter engagement, digital product management and marketing processes are followed.
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
- Managing Individual Giving campaigns (acquisition and retention) across a variety of direct and digital channels
- Using databases to inform Individual Giving campaigns
- Managing and delivering budgets and working with agencies
- Monitoring and evaluating campaigns, reporting results and make recommendations to improve performance.

This is a hybrid role requiring 50% time in their Central London Office.
