As a Team Leader you will work with the Senior team in the day to day running of the home as part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring that the young person is in the safe supportive environment required to nurture their needs.

You will be based at a Forever home in a beautiful setting in Gloucestershire;  the home is for a young person with complex needs and a high level of challenging behaviour with a care ratio of 4:1.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading shifts and supervising staff
• Link working with young people (managing paperwork and files).
• Developing care plans and identifying agreed outcomes.
• Responsible for the safeguarding of young people.
• Being an advocate for the wellbeing of the young people.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children or young people with complex needs within a residential setting, with a Level 3 QCF Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or the willingness to undertake the level 3 qualification. You will have an understanding of attachment theory and impact of adverse childhood experiences on  the development and behaviour of children and young people and will have a positive and confident approach to engaging with children and young people.

Development and Career Progression:

• Work towards gaining your Level 5 Diploma, fully funded, and supported by the charity
• Clear pathways for progression into roles such as Service Co-ordinator, Home Manager or Area Manager

As a Senior Events Manager you will:

• Line manage the Community and Events Executive
• Engage with local and large businesses and corporate bodies to actively engage them with challenge and community events
• Organise and secure sponsorship for special events such as the annual Gala Dinner, Supporters Thank You Evening, Christmas Carol Concert
• Work alongside the Communications Team as well as manage relationships with external designers, printers etc to create and produce a range of publicity materials
• Oversee the maintenance of contact with challenge participants in the lead-up to each event, providing fundraising advice and training support, as well as pre-event motivational activities/meetings. 

In order to be successful, you must have :
