The digital team at Breast Cancer Now are leading a transformation in how we present our information and services to people affected by breast cancer. We are looking for a digital project manager who will be responsible for the delivery, tracking and communication associated with a number of key cross orgnanisational projects. The role will support with the Head of Digital Transformation in driving and tracking program delivery and ensuring that solutions can be adopted quickly and effectively by the organisation. This will entail collaborating across several high profile projects spanning various directorates and co-ordinating with internal teams (such as our Services, Nursing and Data teams) and external partner agencies.

You’ll be highly collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire, organise and motivate others to work together to deliver on time. Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is ideally based in our London or Sheffield office but could also be in our Cardiff, or Glasgow office. Our hybrid working model allows full-time staff members to work up to 3 days per week at home.

About the Role

Purpose of the Job
To strategically lead and manage our existing CYP services that range from being both clinical and non clinical (Mental Health Support Teams in Schools, Circle crisis prevention café for children and young people, Whole School Approach, Be Kind to Your Mind). To develop and grow a portfolio of children and young people’s mental health services.

Growth and Development

Overall Description
The Director of Programs oversees the management of Grassroot Soccer’s priority partnership geographies (Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Zimbabwe) while strengthening the technical assistance to Partners in all geographies as well as coordinating new partnerships globally. The Director of Programs will work closely with the Vice President, Impact and Operations and Director of Strategy and Innovation to develop strategic plans for all Partnership geographies. This position is strategic for Grassroot Soccer, contributing to the organization’s mission and the GRS 5 Year Strategic Plan. The Director of Programs – Maternity Cover would assume the responsibilities of the Director of Programs position while the Director of Programs is on maternity leave.
Grassroot Soccer (GRS) is a rapidly growing adolescent health organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize at-risk youth in developing countries to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities. Since 2002, GRS programs have reached 13 million young people in over 60 countries with life-saving HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health information and services. Grassroot Soccer is looking to continue scaling its impact via partnerships over the next five years.
The Grassroot Soccer Partnerships (GP) team stewards GRS relationships with a wide range of partner organizations globally. The GP team supports these organizations to integrate the GRS model into their adolescent health strategies and coordinates the remote and in person technical support to these organizations to increase their capacity to deliver GRS interventions. This technical assistance includes but is not limited to program design, product development, monitoring and evaluation, Coach development, program optimization, youth engagement, and research.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Grant Management across all Priority Partnership Geographies (40%)

From grant kickoff stage to grant close out, ensure Program Managers (PMs) for priority partnership geographies (Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Zimbabwe) execute grants and meet deliverables on time and on budget

Manage team of Program Coordinators (PCs) and/or Program Assistants to ensure each of the PMs has the necessary support and resources for grant execution throughout the grant life cycle

We are looking for someone who will drive the BHMA into a new phase of growth. Someone with passion and dedication who will believe in our purpose and help us achieve this. We want to grow our reach and find new members, journal subscribers and people to enrol on our course. We also want to start producing professional webinars and podcasts in the run up to our conference this Autumn. How we work
The BHMA operates as a remote team however the hub is in the Bath/Bristol area with our AGM & a conference to be held near Bristol in 2024. We have 2-3 evening Zoom meetings per month and our remote administrator works mornings.
You will work from home using your own computer, however occasional face-to-face meetings would be a bonus.

About the role
Working closely with the Service Director as a member of the Senior Management Team, the Head of Wellbeing and Community Support Service will lead and promote the Wellbeing and Holistic support of staff, volunteers, service users and those close to them, as well as leading local community engagement initiatives and innovations supporting national agenda.
Through their oversight of community engagement, support for service users and families, volunteering and staff and volunteer wellbeing, they will provide strategic oversight of support provided to ensure the charity builds links with local communities to shape services and ways of working that meet the changing needs of those supported in the local community.
Through their experience in either counselling, palliative social work or psychiatry, they will also work with the local MDT to help provide guidance and advice when reviewing patient cases and referrals. They will also be available to provide support with individual crisis or complex patient management where their skills can be used for short term interventions or to identify the most appropriate support for the individual and their families where needed.
About you
You should be an accredited counsellor, social worker or psychiatry professional with experience of working in a healthcare, social care or public health related discipline, working across a multi-disciplinary team.
Additionally, you will need to demonstrate:
- Significant experience working at a Senior Management level in a healthcare/social care environment to include a proven track record in the strategic development of new services.
- Experience of scoping gaps in services in local areas and developing and managing support services in a community setting to fill these gaps.
- Evidence of setting SMART outcomes and measuring impact against those outcomes
- Demonstrable experience delivering supervision for staff and volunteers outside of normal line management.
- Experience of working with a range of diverse communities, developing long term community relationships with local healthcare providers and influential members of the local community.

The International Society for Influenza and Other Respiratory Virus Diseases (ISIRV) is an independent scientific membership-based society promoting the prevention, detection, treatment, and control of influenza and other respiratory virus diseases since 2005. Key responsibilities
Working alongside ISIRV’s Treasurer, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the Society’s strategic and operational budgeting, financial planning, monitoring and control. The successful post holder will support the organisation with the delivery of two of exciting projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands-on responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and providing support to the project manager
- Ensure risks and issues are promptly escalated in the right way for effective resolution
- 70/30 split between delivery of two key projects within the Charity
- Coordinate project plans
- Coordinating and creation of User guides for a new CRM system
- Overseeing and coordinating User acceptance training
- Coordination of training and working collaboratively with HR to ensure smooth delivery of training
- To work collaboratively and build relationships with leads / superusers and report on progress, dependencies and blockers
Person Specification:
- Significant experience managing multiple projects and a diverse project based workload
- Strong system knowledge, and precious experience implementing a CRM system
- Communicative, with strong influencing skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical terms
- A self-starter, ability to work alone on own initiative, also the willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise tasks, and plan ahead accordingly
- Not-for-profit sector experience
Day rate: £200-240 PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
