International Direct Marketing Creative Coordinator

Role Summary:

To work with the International Direct Marketing Manager to implement direct mail programmes that target existing and prospective donors across different PETA entities. This role is pivotal in driving innovation through data analysis, multi-channel integration, and creativity to enhance campaign development and fundraising income.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary team member for managing and developing a comprehensive lapsed donor programme across PETA and other PETA entities
• Coordinate the direct marketing appeal delivery and selected appeals, including research, briefing, data selection, supplier liaison, and proofreading by using AI-supported tools
• Build and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring all suppliers and colleagues are informed of timelines and deadlines
• Collaborate with print suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities and share creative ideas early in the briefing process
• Liaise with the online team to strategically support mail appeals through coordinated email and social media campaigns
• Process invoices in line with agreed budgets and produce appeal cost reports

The Site Coordinator will be solely responsible for delivering events at this stunning Grade I listed church. From the initial enquiry through to final delivery, they will oversee the planning and coordination of third-party hires, ensuring every detail is handled with care and precision while providing seamless and functional hires of this wonderful historical building. Working alone, the Site Coordinator will ensure there is continued access to the building for community groups and hirers, whilst overseeing all aspects of the day to day administration of the venue; This includes site operations, record keeping, event management, hire marketing and site presentation.

As Legacy and In-Memory Fundraiser, you will work as part of the Individual Giving and Legacy team, responsible for the development and implementation of a multi-year Legacy and In-Memory strategy to grow Ty Hafan’s legacy pledger and in memory giving pool.

We are The Bike Project, a charity that collects second-hand bikes, refurbishes them and donates them to refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK. That brings better health, freedom and independence to people rebuilding their lives in the UK. That’s vital when many are living on less than £10 a week.

A bike links people to essential services, including foodbanks and legal advice, as well as the local community. 

About The Bike Project

The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees.  We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.

The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of committed staff, an online bike shop and two workshops, one in London and one in Birmingham.

To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.

We are now working towards our ambitious goal - that every refugee, wherever they are, can access the transformative power of a bike. Alongside this, we are strengthening our processes and procedures to ensure we are work efficiently and sustainably.

To help us do this we need people that are full of ideas, who love problem solving and are not afraid to suggest new ways of doing things to achieve the best possible results for our community.

 Role and Responsibilities

This role will suit someone who can adapt or work in a fast-paced environment, who can prioritise activities based on the expected amount of income they generate.

As Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role across a wide range of fundraising activities, including supporting Trusts and Foundations grant applications, managing our challenge events programme, leading DIY fundraising initiatives, assisting with individual giving appeals, delivering supporter events, and ensuring high-quality donor stewardship. You’ll work closely with colleagues to engage supporters, drive income, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.

Skills and Qualiifcations 

We’re looking for a proactive Fundraising Officer with strong digital skills and experience using fundraising platforms such as Raisely. You’ll have a track record in campaign delivery, event management, and donor communications, with excellent copywriting skills and the ability to adapt messages for different audiences. Previous fundraising experience is essential, along with the ability to take initiative and work independently to achieve results.

Location

Hybrid - At least two days per week on site in our London office (Brixton) and Deptford workshop, the remainder of your hours can be worked remotely.

At the League Against Cruel Sports, we’re working towards a kinder society where animals are no longer persecuted in the name of ‘sport’. We’re looking for a Supporter Services Assistant to join our friendly and committed Fundraising team.

This is a vital role that supports our incredible supporters — whether they’re making a donation, updating their details or asking about our campaigns. You'll be the first point of contact for many of them, helping to deliver a warm, professional and efficient experience by phone, email and post.

You'll also support the team with accurate data entry, payment processing and the day-to-day running of our supporter database, helping to ensure every gift and action is recorded and acknowledged appropriately.

Our motto is “dialogue, not monologue” — we value every conversation with our supporters, and you'll be instrumental in making sure they feel heard, appreciated and part of our movement.

Key responsibilities:

· Responding to supporter enquiries by phone, email and post

· Processing donations and setting up direct debits

· Maintaining and updating supporter records using our CRM systems

· Sending thank you letters and supporter communications

· Supporting data imports, exports and database hygiene

· Handling supporter complaints with care and professionalism

What we’re looking for:

· Experience in customer or supporter care

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Confidence using databases and Microsoft Office

· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

· Empathy for supporters and a commitment to our cause

· A calm, friendly and solutions-focused approach

Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems is helpful, but not essential – we’ll provide full training.

The Role
Position: Community Fundraiser
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part-time or compressed hours can be considered)
Location: Homebased covering West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, East Sussex and Kent
Travel: To support with events and volunteers, this role requires regular travel. 

You'll raise awareness of Canine Partners in the South of England and maximise income from diverse community sources. A proactive approach is key to showcasing our work and charitable goals.

What You'll Be Doing

• Focus on both stewarding existing relationships and cultivating new ones, ensuring an exceptional donor experience throughout
• Act as the entry point for long term supporters and be responsible for the visible presence in the community
• Meet income targets across the year through individuals, clubs and associations, volunteers, events and challenge events
• Contribute to the wider national Community Fundraising direction

About You

• Proven experience of effectively managing relationships with volunteers, supporters, and/or external stakeholders/audiences
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences
• Demonstrable experience in community fundraising and/or events management
• Ability to manage a varied workload and take initiative to prioritise
• Proven record of securing, growing or maintaining income, funding, contracts, partnerships or comparable resources 
• Fundraising experience could be beneficial but not essential
• Physical ability to lift bulky and heavy equipment, to stand for long periods and to travel as required for the role

Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary is a large, well-established sanctuary dedicated to providing care, safety, and compassion for animals who have no one else to turn to. Caring for those that have no-one is at the heart of everything we do, and we are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic fundraiser to help drive our mission forward.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative fundraising professional to lead and develop our fundraising strategy, helping to secure the income needed to expand and strengthen our impact. You will play a key role in building meaningful relationships with donors, supporters, corporate partners, and the wider community, while identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities.

Main Purpose of Role:

· Devise and implement a mixed programme of community fundraising activities, to generate a sustainable source of unrestricted income to meet agreed targets.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Launch, implement and run innovative income generating projects to maximise donations to SWA, to look after relationships with existing donors and build on relationships created to ensure fundraising potential is optimised.
• Set up and manage a volunteer community fundraising team
• Organise and manage community fundraising activities (including digital) and events to maximise all fundraising opportunities and work to raise the profile of the SWA.
• Keep abreast of developments in the third sector relating to fundraising and have an awareness of the local competition for donations.

Essential

Experience 

• Minimum of two years’ experience in community fundraising with a proven track record of achieving funding target
• Experience in planning, organising and delivering fundraising campaigns, events and activities
• Developing and evaluating new opportunities for partnerships and community fundraising
• Raising funds via social media activities/digital marketing
• Experience of managing or working with volunteers to support fundraising activities

Knowledge

• Charity community fundraising

• Proven knowledge of online fundraising tools, digital marketing and social media
• Regulatory knowledge to include Gift Aid, general data protection regulations and fundraising best practices.

Skills/Personal Qualities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with Customer Relationship Management software systems.

• A proactive self -starter who is able to work on their own initiative, managing and prioritising their work to meet agreed deadlines and targets
• An excellent communicator, with persuasive, engaging and creative writing skills
• Understanding of, and enthusiasm for, SWA’s work, mission and values
• A passion to raise funds for SWA
