The role will be crucial in strengthening relationships with supporters in alignment with London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s Engagement Strategy. This will ensure growth and sustainability over the next five years and beyond.
The Supporter Care Coordinator is responsible for working across the fundraising and marketing directorate to support the Supporter Experience team in delivering all aspects of supporter engagement, stewardship and fundraising compliance, by delivering excellent customer service across and being a first point of contact for fundraising enquiries for London’s Air Ambulance Charity.
The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. Although the post is based at our central London offices, LAAC offers a hybrid working arrangement.
You will be a confident communicator who enjoys providing excellent customer service with advanced administrative skills. You will be comfortable maintaining IT systems and databases and have a warm and personable approach to customer care.

Salary: £26,856 - £30,079 per annum + 6% pension

As a Care Navigator, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support frail older patients in Haringey by providing individual holistic assessments and directing patients to appropriate services including activities that may help to promote their health, wellbeing and independence.

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young people whose lives are just too short. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Did you know that every year we need to raise £5m to keep our doors open and only around 20 percent of our income comes from government sources? The rest has to be raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include short overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team supports these families in our modern, purpose built building. All our rooms/bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families and staff to use.
The role
As part of re designing our services, we are currently seeking three children’s nurses with post registration experience, to join our In House Care Team. You will be working as part of a supportive team consisting of Team Leads, Nurses and care support workers and allied health professionals. Working as part of a team you will provide a high standard of holistic care and be able to balance opportunities for children to experience play, social interaction and learning alongside managing the diverse nursing needs of the children staying with us.
We are looking for resilient, enthusiastic individuals who want to deliver high quality, evidence based paediatric palliative care.
From 1st April 2022 all direct care provision and/or close contact roles at Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice require full COVID vaccination as a Condition of Deployment. The role of Nurse falls into this category.

We are looking for a professional who can work in a flexible, intelligent, and creative way. Key role considerations
- This role will involve working alongside our partner GenesisCare to ensure a holistic approach is taken in aspects of support and treatment.
- The bulk of the patient work is delivery of one-to-one sessions, completing holistic needs assessments, review appointments, consultations, mindfulness, and relaxation sessions.
- Managing a therapist team.
- The Wellbeing Consultant is responsible for ensuring that patients and their relatives have a positive experience as they move through the Penny Brohn UK treatment support services at GenesisCare.

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager who is passionate about making a real difference to communities to lead the Edgbaston Neighbourhood Team.
The successful candidate will enjoy engaging with people at all levels, from Commissioners and Social Workers to small grassroots community groups. Confident in your communication and presentation skills, whether written or verbal you will enjoy building partnerships and relationships in Edgbaston and the citywide NNS Programme to support and grow the community offer to people aged 50 and over as well as younger adults with additional needs.
Key responsibilities of the Neighbourhood Network Scheme Project Manager will include:
- To lead the project and achieve the key contract deliverables (including mapping assets, facilitating a Steering Group, working with community groups to secure funding for their work, analysing needs and gaps, offering capacity-building support etc.)
- To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the NNS workers
- To manage expenditure within allocated budgets
- To coordinate the sub-contracting relationship with the supporting provider in Edgbaston to achieve NNS outcomes.
- Produce quarterly monitoring reports for commissioning officers
- Create and implement an effective marketing plan to promote the project.
- To manage the process of maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all activities and ensuring internal and external reporting requirements are met.
- To develop partnerships with key stakeholders such as Health & Social Care Workers and other voluntary sector organisations.
- To represent Age UK Birmingham at strategic partnership meetings.
- To attend and participate actively in all Operations and Management Team Meetings as and when required.
- To ensure risk assessments are carried out for all activities and health and safety procedures are followed.
- To ensure the safeguarding process and reporting mechanisms are followed
About You
To succeed in the role of Neighbourhood Network Scheme Project Manager, your key skills will include:
- Experience of people management
- Experience in project management
- Experience working in partnership with Adult and Social care teams
- Experience of working within deprived communities, voluntary sector or charities
- Experience with community engagement methods
- An understanding of issues affecting older people and the Adult and Social Care Agenda
- Understanding and commitment to the principles of good practice in relation to equality and diversity.
- Experience in using social media and online platforms to promote activities
· Well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise and multi-task
· Highly motivated and proactive
· Strong people management skills, including performance management and professional development
· IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office, databases etc.
· Ability to work to targets and outputs to achieve funding contract requirements.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with people at all levels
· Degree qualification or equivalent
