“A breast cancer free future means everything to me. I want to see my children grow up. I want to see them have their babies. I want to marry the love of my life and spend forty plus years being his wife.” [Kimberley Dolan, 38]

Prevent Breast Cancer has one simple vision… to make breast cancer a preventable disease for future generations and is committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether! This charity is right at the front-line in the fight against the disease, and we have a hugely exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the team that enables this to happen by raising invaluable funds!

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Fundraising Lead to join the hugely successful and dedicated team at Prevent Breast Cancer.

Main duties will include:

· Supporting and developing relationships across the different fundraising income streams

· Undertaking research into potential new campaigns

· Growing and stewarding a pipeline of new and existing audiences and fundraising opportunities

· Delivering and maintaining the highest quality supporter journey

· Contributing to robust financial planning, management and reporting of income and expenditure.

The Person

You will ideally come to us with previous fundraising experience gained from the charity sector and successful experience in developing a successful campaign. We are looking for an excellent relationship builder who has exceptional interpersonal and networking skills. You should also possess excellent organisation skills and be comfortable working towards income targets. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, along with access to your own vehicle, is also essential for this role.

The team at Prevent Breast Cancer is full of passionate and dedicated individuals entirely dedicated to preventing future generations from ever being diagnosed with breast cancer so you should be enthusiastic about the work of the charity and excited by the future of growth that lies ahead!

Why Prevent Breast Cancer

• Access to Perkbox – a benefits and rewards platform offering freebies and discounts in retail, entertainment and restaurants, online wellbeing classes, confidential support and more)

• Ongoing training and development opportunities

• Quarterly team wellbeing sessions (yoga sessions, team walks, escape rooms etc)

• Death in Service benefit

The role is permanent, and offers the opportunity to work flexibly from the charity’s offices in Wythenshawe Hospital, from home and across the region. Please note you must have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle for this role.

If you think you could be the right person to fulfil the exciting responsibilities of this role, apply here, or get in contact with Charlie or Leanne at Charity Horizons for more information.
