London Seminary are seeking a dynamic Partnership & Development Manager. The Partnership and Development Manager will partner closely with the COO to influence the trajectory of London Seminary's future. Special Events Officer
Temporary - 2 months +
Pay: £16.48 plus £1.99 holiday pay per hour
Location: London - 2 days in the office, the rest remote
Charity People are seeking a Special Events Officer to join a humanitarian charity to help assist with some upcoming events, as well as other general event administration. The role will start as soon as possible and require two days per week in their London office, whilst you can work the rest remotely if preferred. This is a 35-hour week role, which can be worked flexibly if required. There is a chance this role could become permanent for the successful temporary post holder. At this time, they really require someone with charity events experience to come in and keep things ticking over nicely. Working in a small Special Events Team of three people, including the successful postholder, you will be assisting with various tasks to ensure the upcoming events are well planned for, and executed.
The temporary role is paying £16.48 plus £1.99 holiday pay.
The key tasks the role will include:
* Gift In Kind requests & management of suppliers
* Sponsorship requests & management of companies
* Prize asks & administration connected to the requests
* Design of Event Programme - collation of content and working with their Designer

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a medical charity in their search for the Senior Event Manager. Senior Events Manage will be responsible for organising the full calendar of fundraising events, including sporting/challenge, bespoke, special and community events.
As a Senior Events Manager you will:
- Line manage the Community and Events Executive
- Engage with local and large businesses and corporate bodies to actively engage them with challenge and community events
- Organise and secure sponsorship for special events such as the annual Gala Dinner, Supporters Thank You Evening, Christmas Carol Concert
- Work alongside the Communications Team as well as manage relationships with external designers, printers etc to create and produce a range of publicity materials
- Oversee the maintenance of contact with challenge participants in the lead-up to each event, providing fundraising advice and training support, as well as pre-event motivational activities/meetings.
In order to be successful, you must have :
- Significant experience in Fundraising Events
- Line management experience
- Demonstrable experience leading Community, Challenge and Special events
- Strong organisational and time-keeping skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic and positive approach to supporting event participants
- Confident in talking to groups and attending events, speaking about the charity
Salary: £38,000-£43,000 per annum depending on experience

About the Role
Working within a small fundraising team, the Partnerships and Event Fundraiser will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new income. This income generation is broken into two programmes: the Community Fundraising programme and the SME Corporate Partnerships programme, both of which you'll be involved in. As Partnerships and Event Fundraiser, you'll be working across a number of projects and events to engage with businesses about creative ways in which they can support the Hive Youth Zone.
The Community programme will encourage the local community to fundraise for the Hive through approaching schools, groups, and associations, and recruiting participants for events. The SME Corporate Partnerships programme will encourage businesses to donate up to £1000 through initiatives such as Charity of the Year applications, staff fundraising initiatives, and recruiting support from smaller local businesses. About You
This role is a perfect opportunity for a fundraiser, with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at the Hive.
