With experience of working in a complex environment, you will be organised with a high-level of attention to detail, plus have the ability to work alongside adjacent departments in Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, creative, ambitious and team-oriented, with proven experience working for a fast-paced organisation.
As well as evidence of high-level strategic thinking, you will be comfortable diving into the day-to-day work, and so a broad skill set is a must together with a sharp focus on delivering return-on-investment, demonstrating impact of campaigns on revenue, and building our audiences.
This is a complex role requiring a high level of political acumen, excellent relationship skills and a desire to improve our ability and capacity to generate income at every level, from digital fundraising to major gifts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Community and Events Fundraiser to join a national charity in order to engage with the community served by the charity to develop and implement plans for maximising income and support from individuals, groups and businesses. This will be achieved by working collaboratively with colleagues in the support of the broad income-generating initiatives the Fundraising department delivers, with a key focus on relationship building and management.
As a Senior Community and Events Fundraiser you will:
- Manage, achieve and where possible exceed income and development targets, taking a lead and individual responsibility for specific projects, activities and events.
- Ensure an excellent level of supporter care and stewardship to ensure that relationships with supporters are maintained and developed.
- Project manage open challenges (e.g. London Marathon, skydiving, international bike rides etc.) including looking for new opportunities, liaison with third-party organisers, participant recruitment and participant support.
- Work collaboratively with other teams across Fundraising and MarComms to market and promote fundraising products, activities and events.

In order to be successful, you must have experienced :
- experience of fundraising in a community, challenge or mass participant event capacity
- Experience of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with individual fundraisers/supporters and of developing partnerships
- Experience of setting and working to budgets, targets and plans.
- Previous experience of managing staff and/or volunteers.
- Experience of delivering talks and presentations.
- Demonstrable track record in working with different audiences.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Understanding of and experience with using CRM databases.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels, on the telephone, face to face and in writing.

Harris Hill has an opening for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to join a health related charity for 3 months, but potentially longer to cover recruitment period.
Following the completion of a 5 year plan, the organisation has decided to invest in Individual Giving as it has been noted there is lots of room for improvement, one of which is dividing the team into separate retention and acquisitions teams. This will focus on the retention side. They will be recruiting permanently but need someone quite experienced to get the ball rolling on an interim basis.
As an IG Manager, you will be required to hit the ground running but also be quite hands on, ready to roll your sleeves up when needed. The role is hybrid based with one day per week in the office. They have two offices. One in central and the other in south London which could work well for someone commuting in from the Surrey and the south.
The client is willing to offer a daily rate on a PAYE basis of £164-200 per day, plus holiday pay, which would be payrolled via the agency. You could choose an umbrella company if you wish.

To be a fabulous Fundraising Officer, you will need:
- Previous experience in fundraising, ideally community & events
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people and provide excellent supporter care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong relationships

We are delighted to be working with the wonderful King’s College Hospital Charity which is looking for a proactive Philanthropy Manager to join their team. Patients are at the heart of everything at this charity and they work tirelessly to support the day-to-day work of the hospital and deliver practical benefits by raising money for cutting-edge equipment, research, pioneering treatment, patient wellbeing and staff development.
In this newly created role as Philanthropy Manager, you will shape and develop the growth of prospects and high-value opportunities and create compelling cases for support and proposals. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of something new for this charity and, with an agile working pattern, you will certainly thrive in this friendly and supportive team.
You will need:
- Experience in relationship development with donors and internal stakeholders
- Commercial or charity sector income generation experience
- Excellent interpersonal with experience in a client-facing role
- Compelling writing style and great organisational skills
Salary: £39,000-£42,000
Contract: Permanent Full time
Location: Hydrid – London 1 day pw
