About the role
Sightsavers' content and stories team has responsibility for developing creative concepts and content in response to communications briefs, as well as supporting the organisation with video and editorial services, and sourcing photography, video, audio and written stories from projects across Africa and South Asia. This work generates a huge volume of multimedia digital assets which need to be easily searchable by everyone in the organisation. We've recently moved to a new digital asset management system which requires an ongoing process of training and development.
We are looking for a Digital Asset Manager to be responsible for embedding and maintaining our new digital asset management system (Asset Bank), offering training and support to teams using and uploading assets. You'll work closely with content producers and story collectors to develop workflows preparing and uploading new content and you'll lead their implementation. As digital asset manager you'll inspire staff with available content, finding creative ways to make the organisation aware of the assets the team is producing. You'll need to make strategic decisions and plans for optimising and promoting the system and its contents, but you won't shy away from getting stuck into the day to day of preparing and uploading content.
Key duties will include:
* Ownership of digital asset storage systems with strategic decision making about process, structure and content
* Asset preparation, upload and categorisation - maintaining consistency and quality across systems

We seek a Global Technical Lead - Social Inclusion and Mainstreaming, with expertise in addressing inequalities, to join our team of social inclusion professionals. The post-holder will be responsible for providing technical support in the design of new projects, the provision of technical expertise to ongoing initiatives and will also play a role in shaping the strategic direction of Sightsavers' approach to disability inclusive decision-making, gender mainstreaming, and supporting our policy and global advocacy priorities.
The Global Technical Lead - will support the Deputy Technical Director, Social inclusion in delivering Sightsavers' work in inclusive decision-making. This will include working closely with country office staff to deliver our West Africa portfolio of projects addressing inclusive citizenship and political participation (CPP). Inclusive democracy is an area of growth for Sightsavers, and the post-holder will have a significant role in contributing to growing the portfolio.
Principal accountabilities will include:
- Providing Sightsavers staff and our partners, technical leadership, support and guidance in the area of disability inclusion across our thematic area of citizenship and political participation
- Identifying the capacity building needs of Sightsavers' staff and partners globally to deliver social inclusion programming
- Working with Global Technical Leads and other teams to identify new strategic initiatives and innovative approaches in social inclusion including in fragile environments and promoting locally led development.
- Developing tools and guidance around disability mainstreaming
- Representing Sightsavers externally and strengthening partnerships with relevant stakeholders

Terms and Conditions

Person Specification
Essential requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in Nutrition/Community Nutrition or Public Health or Medicine discipline
- Demonstrable field/applicable experience across several relevant aspects of nutrition programming in low- and middle- income countries, e.g. CMAM, MAMI, IYCF, Maternal Nutrition, Adolescent Nutrition, Nutrition Information Systems
- Experience of in-depth knowledge management, and / or projects that focus on ‘learning’
- Strong knowledge of the current key topics and challenges in the nutrition sector, including MAMI, Adolescent, IFE, maternal and beyond

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the establishment of the Agricultural Recovery Hub (ARH). About the role
The Crisis Financing Training & Capacity Development Advisor will be responsible for developing and expanding an innovative package of trainings and learning for the Start Network.
You will play a crucial role in the ongoing capacity development of Start Network organisation, by disseminating and institutionalising new developments in learning, knowledge and terminology
related to Start Network crisis financing programming throughout the staff team.
You will continue to develop new and strengthen existing training packages that are of high quality and will ensure that Start Network's New Financing programming is mainstreamed throughout the sector in a sustainable manner.
You will be responsible for assisting in delivering trainings to member agency colleagues, Start Network Hubs as well as training the Start Network team. You will coordinate a group of ‘trainers' who can offer high quality capacity development opportunities. You will also ensure that monitoring, evaluation and accountability is built into capacity development to measure outputs and outcomes more systematically.
In this role, you will:
- Leverage technical expertise from Start team members, technical partners and the anticipation and risk financing building blocks framework to design modularised training and learning materials to meet the capacity development needs of the Start Network, including e-learning.
- Identify and develop a training of trainers (TOT) programme and build up a group of trainers within the Start team and across the Start Network membership.
- Strengthen the training and facilitation skills of Start Network team
- Develop a learning pathway with the technical leads to ensure different stakeholders can access the training necessary for their role
- Investigate and utilise cutting edge and interactive learning and training approaches, building partnerships and relationships with providers of such services.
- Review and develop adaptable learning materials with multi language application requirements and cultural contexts as needed.

• Responsible for ensuring the financial accounts department meets the needs of users of their services and the requirements of the charity.
• Develop and maintain efficient and effective financial systems and controls.

We are looking for a Project Lead to play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of a new innovative programme, the Immunization Accelerator, that seeks to fund and support locally-led innovations that address long standing barriers to child immunisation in Nigeria and Ethiopia.
The role needs to be based in either Ethiopia or Nigeria.
Background
The Immunization Accelerator is part of an ambitious five-year partnership which includes programmes in Ethiopia and Nigeria focusing on access to quality immunisation services, and a research agenda generating robust and credible evidence about the effectiveness of interventions, as well as value for money and replicability. We will partner with academic institutions, including those from Ethiopia and Nigeria.
The accelerator is part of a wider 5 year partnership between Save the Children and GSK in Nigeria and Ethiopia which will include research partnering with academic institutions, generating robust and credible evidence about the effectiveness of interventions, as well as their value for money and replicability and, programmes in Ethiopia and Nigeria building on our previous immunisation track-record, including those implemented in the Somali region of Ethiopia in partnership with GSK.
Your Role
As the Immunization Accelerator Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and monitoring of innovative projects aimed at overcoming barriers to child immunization. As part of a , working in synergy with teams across the Save the Children movement, you will collaborate with colleagues across the Save the Children movement as well as local organizations and institutions, to ensure that promising innovations receive the support they need to develop their evidence bases.
Your Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the end to end support of immunization innovations, from selection via an open call, through piloting to evaluation. You will be able to help innovators work through the next steps they need to take in order to build their evidence bases and take their innovations to the next level.
- Regular in-person support and monitoring of selected innovation projects/partners, including site visits that will require frequent travel in both Nigeria and Ethiopia.
- Initiate and lead discussions with local enterprise, health and innovation stakeholders, including donors, investors, and communities, to ensure the incubator is well networked, has a healthy pipeline and can offer the best support for our innovators.
- You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including local partners, Save the Children and GSK to deliver the programme.
- Communicate regularly with the Accelerator Project Team and Accelerator Investment Committees, providing progress reports from the innovators.
- Ensure relevant quality assurance processes are completed so that programmes are running effectively and on time. Support award team to ensure that awards management and other relevant information systems are up-to-date, and that global and internal processes are followed.
- Support grant and contract management, from grant set-up to quality assurance during implementation, lead reporting on the Accelerator and work with other SCUK departments to support reporting of the Immunisation programme. Ensure awards in the portfolio are compliant with donor requirements and SC quality standards.
- Implement an agile evaluation and learning approach, regularly collecting and analysing relevant data to adapt. Facilitate review and reflection meetings to optimize the design of the incubator and support provided. And ensure evaluation of the incubator and innovations takes place in a robust and useful.
About You
To be successful, it is important that you have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in the field of enterprise support or health innovation, health management or health research.
- Must have previous experience of working with a range of in-country organisations of different types and sizes, for example, Community Based Organisations, Non-Government Organisations, universities, private sector health initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to bring together cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience of the innovation process, preferably with experience in global health initiatives or social enterprise.

This Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation (LME) Specialist is a key role for AmplifyChange. The person is responsible for measuring the impact of AmplifyChange’s work for internal and external use. The LME Specialist works closely with the senior management team, across AmplifyChange teams and with external consultants on implementing and contributing to the learning, monitoring and evaluation aspects of our strategy. The LME Specialist will have the skills to measure the impact of advocacy work of sexual and reproductive health and rights - both long-term impact and intermediate outcomes. The role has responsibility for preparing monitoring and impact reports for AmplifyChange’s leadership team, board and external stakeholders. The postholder will prepare, analyse and approve the organisation’s regular use of high-quality data – both qualitative and quantitative - and support grantee partners’ reporting processes. The role plays an important part in monitoring the overall grants portfolio and informing the learning agenda of AmplifyChange. Finally, the role also plays a key part in the grant application moderation rounds.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring the impact of AmplifyChange
• Producing a range of regular reports based on data analysis including on AmplifyChange metrics and results framework across our three delivery streams (which are grant making, organisational strengthening and building mutual support in the movement), as well as case studies from the grants portfolio
• Developing and monitoring the results framework for the strategy for 2026-2030
• Analysing indicators, milestones, and other quantitative and qualitative data collected from grantee partners. Compiling data and generating aggregate results for internal and external purposes as needed
• Developing a framework for long-term impact, and for intermediate outcomes, to describe and measure the results of AmplifyChange’s support to grantees
• Extracting and analysing grantee progress reports to report on AmplifyChange’s overall progress against each core indicator in the results framework
• Commissioning external evaluators to support the independent impact analysis
• Developing and analysing grant application data and other feedback mechanisms continuously to improve AmplifyChange support of grantee partners and collaboration with the Head of Grant Making
Governance and decision-making
• Preparing and contributing to the development of decision-making papers and impact updates for our Board
• Responding to donor and board data requirements as requested, outside of regular reporting schedules
• Contributing to communications of AmplifyChange results to donors, internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting the moderation process of reviewing and scoring grant applications through quality assurance
Learning
• Analysing and writing up case studies of grantees identified by the technical team across the AmplifyChange portfolio
• Reviewing and improving grant portfolio data structure and tools in collaboration with grants support and operations team
• Supporting grantee partners in developing their monitoring framework, from time to time
• Contributing to the development of learning products and related materials for the results frameworks, monitoring and case studies
• Building new organisational capacity, systems and tools (e.g. setting up IATI reporting, supporting the continued work with the Grantee Reference Group)

• Commissioning and managing external impact evaluations with consultants

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
• Significant experience in participatory evaluation and learning
• Experience of measurement of advocacy, social norms and policy change in constrained-resource settings
• Facilitation of large group discussions
• Work experience in Africa or South Asian countries
• Knowledge and experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods
• Excellent ability to write well and present complex information to non-experts

REPORTING AND ORGANISATION
This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week, reporting to the Head of Learning, Impact and Partnership.
AmplifyChange is based in Bath and we operate on a hybrid working model with at least one day per week in the office. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. As a Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser you will work in the Education Team within the Global Policy, Advocacy and Research department.
Save the Children is partnering with the LEGO Foundation on an exciting new project to advocate for changes in policy, participation, and funding to improve the quality of instruction and wellbeing of teachers in refugee hosting communities in Kenya.
Your role will focus on advocacy on refugee education, including a focus on teachers and the education workforce. The role will require you to work closely with colleagues in our Kenya office, to both support advocacy at the national level, and to affect change on refugee education through global advocacy.
Our ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is a sharp strategic thinker, who understands how to make political and policy change happen across different contexts. You will have experience of working with partners to achieve national and global policy change, and have strong networking and relationship building skills. Experience of working in global education or humanitarian sectors is desirable.
In this role, you will:
- Design, lead and implement complex policy and advocacy strategies and products, to a high standard and with minimal supervision
- Identify global policy and research needs and influencing opportunities in your thematic area
