Experience of working or volunteering in a not-for-profit organisation would be an advantage.

You should be confident communicating with varied audiences using a range of formats, and have extensive knowledge of social media channels, dashboards, scheduling tools and trends. You should be able to design, create and manage engaging and impactful content for social media channels, using design tools such as Canva or similar.

This is a full-time role (part-time hours would be considered), based at our head office in Tunbridge Wells. Your own car is essential.

The British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) is looking for an Events and Marketing Assistant.  BIICL is the foremost independent legal research and discussion body in the United Kingdom in its field, and one of the leading such bodies in the world.

The post at BIICL is for a fixed term of 12 months with the possibility of an extension. The post would be particularly suited to a recent events management or marketing graduate looking to develop a career in events management or in marketing for a charity or educational organisation.

The Role

The person appointed will report to the Marketing Director and work as part of a small team of staff responsible for events and marketing. The person will be involved in all aspects of the marketing team’s work including:

· Production and editing of printed and digital materials for events and other marketing activity

· Updating and maintaining the Marketing and Events team documentation and databases;

· Liaising with a range of stakeholders including members, event attendees, suppliers and partner organisations.

· Creation of content and posting on the BIICL social media channels.

· Online research for targeting of BIICL events and courses

· Dealing with event enquiries on a day to day basis

· Maintenance of the BIICL website with creation and updating of content within the BIICL and Bingham Centre sites

· Production of invitations and processing of replies

· Setup and support for the running of online and hybrid events for the Institute

· Ad hoc administrative support on Events and Marketing related tasks

Person Specification

It is expected that the successful applicant will demonstrate and provide evidence of the following:

· A degree or equivalent experience in event co-ordination or marketing;

· Effective project management skills and good attention to detail;

· Strong administrative and organisational skills;

· A personable, presentable and articulate team member with the ability and willingness to work collaboratively and collegially with colleagues;

· Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly;

· Highly proficient user of MS 365 and office programmes, social media platforms and Zoom / other video conferencing software;

· Knowledge of photo and/ or  video editing;

· Experience of Mailchimp, Sogosurvey Adobe InDesign or  Adobe PhotoShop would be a benefit.

The post will be paid £24,000 - £25,000 per annum.  It is hoped that the person appointed will commence as soon as possible.

Media Officer

Position: Media Officer

Location: London office-based, with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week)

Contract: Permanent

About the role:

Reporting to the Director of Engagement, the Media Officer is a key member of the organisation’s Engagement department (comprising the Marketing team and Publishing team). The post-holder is responsible for creating relevant and impactful media and content to support the promotion of and engagement with key activities.

This content includes but is not limited to video, animation and podcasts and the Media Officer should be able to recommend and deliver the right solution/s to support the targets and objectives. The Media Officer will help drive engagement across the organisation’s communication channels and raise the organisation’s profile and reputation through impactful content and messaging. You will devise creative solutions to bring key products and services ‘to life’ and champion the organisation’s mission and values internally and externally.

Key responsibilities include:

• Produce media and content to support marketing activity, campaigns and projects, including video, animation, podcasts
• Identify new opportunities for media and content, primarily in consultation with Marketing and Publishing teams
• Develop a network of contacts as sources for new content
• Prepare and disseminate press releases and other TOPRA news/updates
• Manage press and PR enquiries
• Monitor external activity (including competitor) and incorporate best practice
• Support engagement activity and monitor its performance across TOPRA channels, including:
  • Social media
  • Regulatory Rapporteur (online journal)

About you:

The team
The Northern Ireland team sit within the Energy Directorate of Energy Saving Trust. In Northern Ireland, our main focus is to deliver the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme (NISEP), but we also are involved in other areas of work and deliver campaigns helping NI householders save energy and money.

There are currently four programme support officers who work very closely to support each other in delivering NISEP and report into the project manager of the team. The team also includes an assistant programme manager and is headed up by the programme manager for NI. The team collaborate with external stakeholders regularly and other teams of Energy Saving Trust.
 
The role     
The programme support officer will be focusing on enabling people in Northern Ireland create warmer homes, reduce their energy bills, and lower their carbon footprint. 
 
NISEP is an £8 million grant programme that provides funding for energy efficiency measures for domestic and commercial properties.  Energy Saving Trust are the programme administrator of NISEP on behalf of the Utility Regulator in Northern Ireland.
 
The role will provide you with an inspiring opportunity to develop your programme management experience, and develop your knowledge in the Energy Access sector, helping our vulnerable customers.
 
What you’ll do

• Support the smooth running of the Energy Saving Trust NI programme work, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.
• A strong focus on the administration of NISEP, including assessing payment claims; reviewing and analysing interim reports as well as other NISEP tasks.
• Liaise with external stakeholders as well as with Energy Saving Trust staff in other offices.

What you’ll bring

Purpose of the job/About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Challenge Events Team, helping to coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge events that drive participation and income for Dementia UK.

As the Challenge Events Executive you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all challenge events within your portfolio. These events include Great North Run, London Landmarks Half Marathon and some international marathons.

Utilising project management tools and strategies, you’ll meticulously plan, organise, and deliver each event while driving targeted marketing campaigns, with a particular emphasis on email and digital platforms. Air Ambulances UK (AAUK) is the national charity supporting the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities, enabling them to save even more lives every day.

Purpose of Post 
The Fundraising Officer will be a key member of our ambitious and friendly Income Generation team helping to support the team across a number of national partnership income streams.

The role will have responsibility for responding to enquiries via post, email and telephone, and ensuring income and general information is captured accurately on Donorfy (CRM system). 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a mixed pipeline of national partners and prospects including researching, making approaches, applications, and stewardship activities.
• Coordinate and support fundraising campaigns and events for partners.
• Responsible for welcoming, assisting and responding to enquiries AAUK receives over telephone, email, and post.

• General: Provide day-to-day marketing and communications support to the wider organisation and to promote our programme delivery and our philanthropy advice offers.

This is a full-time (Monday - Friday working 9am - 5pm) position and with opportunities for hybrid working with some time each week in our office in central Devizes. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer and/or journalist to tell the stories of SAT-7 and the people of the MENA in fresh and powerful ways. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, creative environment as part of the Communications & Resources Team, delivering high quality content across a range of platforms. You’d be writing engaging podcast and video scripts, informative press releases, powerful viewer testimonies, inspiring articles for our website or print magazine, political briefings, and attention-grabbing email copy. You’ll be one of the main points of contact with our international office and Middle Eastern TV studios, gathering and repurposing impactful stories and resourcing the wider UK team.

You’d also be responsible for making SAT-7 more widely known amongst UK Christians and churches, leaders and influencers, getting SAT-7’s stories and campaigns strategically placed across print, broadcast and digital press and media. Working closely with our external PR agency, you’ll help facilitate regular media opportunities with SAT-7 UK and international spokespeople, making sure they are well prepared for interviews with the press.

The Communications & Press Officer reports to the Communications & Resources Manager.

This role is a permanent role. The role is based in Chippenham but flexible working options are available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write engaging content for a range of platforms, in line with our “Read, Listen and Watch” strategy
• Demonstrate the life-changing impact of SAT-7 and the value of supporters’ financial giving
• Show how God is at work in the MENA, and mobilise increased prayer for the issues affecting different people groups and MENA Christians
• Inform supporters and the wider public about the context, news, challenges and opportunities for the MENA region and Church
