About the role
Sightsavers is a member of the Data and Research in Education (DARE) Pakistan research consortium, and is leading several research studies in this capacity. These studies are in the area of disability inclusive education and climate resilience in education. Our research predominantly revolves around qualitative methodologies, supplemented by a variety of other techniquesThe studies are primarily qualitative, but make some use of other methods. We are looking for an experienced Research Coordinator, to play a vital role in coordinating and implementing these research studies and to support other education focused work by Country Office team.
- Coordinate Research Activities: Effectively communicate and engage with DARE research consortium leadership, federal and provincial stakeholders, including Ministries of Education and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities, as well as local stakeholders like headteachers.
- Develop Fieldwork Strategies: Create comprehensive fieldwork procedures and plans, along with training materials for fieldworkers.
- Implement Data Collection: Design and execute data collection strategies, manage logistics, conduct interviews and focus group discussions, supervise fieldworkers, and ensure high-quality data management.
- Contribute to Scholarly Writing: Assist in writing detailed study reports and contribute to scholarly journal articles.
- Disseminate Research Findings: Organize and conduct dissemination activities, such as workshops, meetings, and presentations, to communicate research findings to a broad audience.
- Participate in additional educational interventions: Support the Programme Manager with inclusive education activities, including teacher development and assessments.

In this role, th Research Coordinator will work closely with Principal Investigators and Co-Investigators, as well as the Pakistan Country Office Team, to coordinate and implement DARE studies and related processes. The responsibilities will include collecting, analysing, and disseminating data generated by the research.
The ideal Research Coordinator will have the legal right to live and work in Pakistan and will possess a strong background in qualitative research and project coordination, preferably within education and/or disability research sectors. The Research Coordinator will bring experience in study coordination, stakeholder engagement, fieldworker training and supervision, data collection, management and analysis, and reporting. Jobholder Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master's degree or equivalent in Education, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Demonstrated training and proficiency in qualitative research methods, including focus groups and in-depth interviews.
- Proven experience in coordinating qualitative research studies within Pakistan.
- Skilled in developing research protocols and creating guides for interviews and focus group discussions.
- Familiarity with the process of submitting research protocols to ethical review bodies and managing the review processes.
- Proficiency in using Nvivo software for qualitative data analysis is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Competent in planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, and supervising research projects
- The ability to motivate and collaborate within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Availability for national travel within Pakistan as required by the role

The Epilepsy Research Institute serves as the central hub for the epilepsy research community. The Institute is seeking to employ a Head of Finance to lead the financial administration of the organisation through its next stage of development.
We are looking for an experienced Finance manager, as a qualified accountant who is ideally experienced in working with a charity or research environment. The post holder will be a self-starter that relishes a challenge, who is prepared to support and develop the Finance function of the Institute. They will need to be a hands-on Head of Finance who understands the mechanics of working within a small organisation, with competing and evolving priorities.

Centre 33 is looking to recruit an Engagement and & Support Project Worker, to Cover Maternity Leave, with significant practical experience of working with young people. A track record of providing practical support and guidance is a must as this is an integral part of the Centre 33 'Someone To Talk To' service
Your role will be to deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people while developing good local links with other organisations supporting young people and the community.
You will be part of a team providing an open access 'one stop shop' offering information and on-going support to young people (aged 13-25), supporting them to make informed choices about their emotional wellbeing, work, education & finances.
You will have wide-ranging and demonstrable experience of working with a complex case-load, assessing risk and need, and also of partnership working.
By listening to local young people, and local partners, and sharing your findings with the Someone to Talk to team you will support Centre 33 to embed and develop a more impactful service in line with the organisation’s strategic plan.
Your main base will be at our Cambridge hub with additional working in other locations across Cambridgeshire on an ad hoc basis (for occasional cover).
A driving license and use of a car is essential for this post.

The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.
Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants, and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it free of charge to London charities, schools, food banks, and other organisations serving people in need. Our food is a vital lifeline for children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and keyworkers. Last year, The Felix Kitchen made and distributed over 1.1 million meals to help people in need.

Purpose of the Job
Your role as a Packing Assistant is to assist the Head of Packing with the smooth running of the packing area of Felix’s Kitchen and the correct packing, storing and distribution of all meals and components. You also assist the Senior Chefs in the smooth running of the kitchen.
You are responsible for maintaining the quality and standards of the kitchen and ensuring that all meals and/or components of meals are packed correctly.
You assist other staff and volunteers when they need help, ensuring the smooth running of the operation.

Terms & Conditions
- Location: This role is base at the MAF UK Offices in Folkestone, Kent. We welcome hybrid working in line with our flexible working policy, the needs of the business, the requirements of the role and your location. This will be discussed at interview.
- Working Hours: At least 36 hours per week, with 1 hour for lunch daily unpaid. Hours should be agreed with line manager. Flexible, occasional out-of-office, evening, and weekend work required.
- Annual Leave: Annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year and 8 paid public holidays per year.
- Pension Scheme: Non-contributory (10% of salary).
- Probation and Notice Period: 3 months each.
- Salary: £39,200 per annum

Fantastic opportunity to work in a small friendly team. As Project Lead for APAP's Night Shelter provision you will be responsible for a caseload of clients and the wider management of the Night Shelter project. You will work with clients from assessment, through to placement in our provision and then support them to move beyond homelessness.
We work in partnership to provide single room, 24 hour staffed accommodation to clients in our provision. You will take a lead on maintaining a relationship with the accommodation provider through regular liaison and communication. You will also lead on all casework in relation to our clients, assessing their needs and supporting them to attend and engage with the services they need to move through and beyond homelessness.
Working predominantly with clients that have No Recourse to Public Funds, our Night Shelter Provision provides respite from the streets and an opportunity to work across agencies to address issues including immigration, mental and physical health and substance misuse.
