About the role
We are looking for a Recovery Support Worker to join our passionate, and dedicated team in Hounslow. In this role you will support some of the most vulnerable individuals in the borough, helping them identify their individual strengths and aspirations.
The Hounslow LIFE service is a large multi-site service with a large team of colleagues with specialisms in Homelessness, Substance Use and Mental Health to provide a recovery based approach to 86 clients across our different sites.
In the role of Recovery Support Worker, you will:

Work with clients on their road to recovery, aiding clients to gain the necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation.

Provide support to maintain independence in the community, build their skills for employment, manage their health needs, and look towards a brighter future.

Oversee housing management responsibilities to ensure we deliver safe, high-quality services.
In this role you will work on a weekly shift rota including early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. Staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

Summary of the role:
This role will provide day-to-day administrative support and project support to the department head and the overall team to ensure the successful delivery of the organisation’s operations in an efficient manner. ABOUT YOU

CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit organisations across the UK who specialise in adoption services. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Royal Hospital Chelsea where we are seeking an exceptional individual to join the Health & Wellbeing team in a new role as Tenancy & Contributions Officer.
The Tenancy & Contributions Officer will lead on the delivery and continuing evolution of the tenancy agreement (known as the In-Pensioner Agreement). Part of the delivery of the agreement will be coordinating the process of setting and reviewing In-Pensioner’s personal financial contribution to the Royal Hospital. The role also requires the individual to support with benefit applications as required, as well as undertake other housing management related tasks on behalf of the organisation.
In addition, the role is also a core component of the recruitment process for new In-Pensioners being the point of first appeal should a candidate be unsuccessful in their application to join. Unqualified applicants £27,582.75 – £29,174.06 per annum. In house training to attain qualified band is available after successful completion of probation period.

About the Service
Our refuges provide emergency accommodation to women and children fleeing domestic abuse and sexual violence, last year nearly 1000 women and children found a safe place to stay in one of our refuges. Refuge Case workers provide emotional and practical support this can include housing support, legal options, reporting to the police, benefits, financial matters and accessing therapeutic support services.
About the Role
You will be a keyworker for a caseload of (on average 6-10 women) living in or moving on from the refuge. You will be with them from the start of their journey to the end, welcoming and helping them settle when they arrive to when they are ready to move on to their next home. This includes carrying out risk and needs assessments and developing support plans. Your work with service users will ensure their practical needs as well as emotional needs are taken care of. You also provide a vital role in keeping the service a safe and secure environment for the women and children who now call the refuge home. It is a face paced, target driven role.
About You
Key to this role is experience of working/volunteering with anyone who has experienced any form of social disadvantage. A knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children is important as well as an ability to build supportive and empowering relationships. You must be open and willing to learn new skills which will build on your working practice with service users to co-develop and deliver support planning, risk assessment & linking in with other agencies where needed.
Knowledge and experience of risk assessing, case management and legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits is ideal however not required as we are confident that we can train around these.

Summary of the role:
The HR Officer will be responsible for providing support to the Senior HR Business Partner and the wider People and Culture team in the delivery of HR services.
