The small yet busy Solution Delivery Team is expanding from six to ten employees, sitting within the IT Department. The team work within Cats Protection to identify issues and provide technical solutions, utilizing both off the shelf products or in-house developed solutions as required. Internal solutions are built using a range of technologies focused around the Azure Stack, including low code/no code solutions, C# and T-SQL code as required.

Responsibilities of our Solution Developer:

As a Solution Developer you will be working on a number of exciting new projects as well as helping to support and upgrade existing applications. This role gives the post holder exposure to Cloud First development work and the opportunity to work with the latest technology.

Current projects include:

• Updating our Neutering Finance system to move from a paperbased system towards an electronic version
• Replacing our CRM, a system at the heart of many of our processes and data flows, and integrating it with a number of new and existing systems
• The redevelopment/migration of existing systems into fully cloud based systems.

What we’re looking for in our Solution Developer:

• Significant experience in software development using C# and TSQL or another development skill involving systems implementation
• Experience in functional and automated testing, producing test driven development
• Demonstratable knowledge of Azure Stack development, specifically around pipelines, functions, logic apps and service buses
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• The ability to apply specific quality standards to all tasks undertaken to ensure that deliverables are accurate and complete
• To show understanding for the needs of the internal or external customer and keeping these in mind when taking actions or making decisions
• To identify gaps in the available information required to understand a problem or situation and able to devise a means of resolving them

Programming & artistic relationships

• Lead on the day-to-day relationship with Southbank Centre, both in terms of strategy and date requests as principal point of contact

• Keep SBC colleagues updated on future artistic plans, specifically identifying future projects which may be of interest to Southbank Centre to collaborate on, on a co-promotion or engagement basis

Orchestra liaison

• Lead the Artistic Committee discussions re future plans, and ideas around conductors and soloists • Work with the Concerts Assistants and Data & Insight Manager to issue periodic conductor and soloist survey, using results to inform future programming
• Be in regular contact with key orchestral personnel over suitability of repertoire if rehearsal time is  severely limited

Recordings & digital

• Lead on Philharmonia Records, developing and overseeing the recordings strategy
• Identify, and plan potential own-label recording projects
• Listen to recordings to assess suitability for release, and discussing in-house recordings with Artistic Committee
• Work with Immersive Producer on programmatic aspects of digital projects • Identify projects which could be digital first from the outset

Other

• Work with the CEO and Exec team colleagues on developing future business plan and strategies built around the Orchestra’s new mission, vision and values

This provides an exciting opportunity for a practising lawyer with a strong research background or academic lawyers keen to engage in high-level policy and law reform work.

We are looking for a lawyer mainly interested in criminal justice, as well as in cross-cutting issues affecting the functioning of the justice system (current cross-cutting projects include work on the state of the rule of law in the UK and AI, human rights, and the law).

JUSTICE is at the forefront of work promoting access to a fair criminal justice system for all. The successful candidate will be building on our recent work on racial injustice in the youth criminal justice system and post-conviction decision making, including the parole system and administrative decision-making in prisons, as well as our cross-cutting workstream on the state of the rule of law in the UK. They will also be scoping and setting up a new criminal justice project relating to fraud.

We would like to recruit a bright, motivated person who is passionate about criminal justice system reform, and the promotion of access to justice and fair trial. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. With excellent interpersonal skills, they will be able to work closely with JUSTICE members, who include senior figures in the legal profession. The post holder will work with our Interim Legal Director to further develop our criminal justice work stream and assist on system-wide proposals for change. This role is focused primarily on England and Wales, though it will touch on UK wide issues and the Scottish criminal justice system from time-to-time.

1. Lead the research and public affairs functions at Alcohol Change UK.

3. Set budgets, tightly control costs and identify opportunities for making savings, growing income and making the case for investment.

4. Appropriately monitor and evaluate our research and public affairs work with a view to knowing, growing and showing the impact we make.

Research

5. Work closely with the CEO, Policy and Research Manager, R&P sub-committee and Wales Office to determine and oversee the charity’s programme of commissioned research, research grants, and in-house research.

Educational Grants & Relationships Manager 

The Merchant Taylors' Company is looking for an exceptional person to lead on its educational grant-making and its education-related relationships. The grant-making is delivered primarily through the Merchant Taylors' Foundation. It’s  partly about schools but also potentially any setting in which education improves lives – for example, offender rehabilitation, or our Early Years joint programme with the Leathersellers’ Company. 

You’ll sustain vibrant relationships between the Company and schools throughout England and Northern Ireland with which it has close links. Some are state-maintained, some in the independent sector, and you’ll love both types.

You’ll lead on education-related volunteering opportunities for the Company’s membership, a vibrant community of people whose birth decades span the early 2000s back to the 1930s. 

You’ll also lead on relationships with all the stakeholders affecting our education-related work. You’ll ensure those relationships are flourishing and mutually advantageous, and you’ll lead on identifying and building new ones to increase our impact. 

You’ll support fundraising work for the Foundation, for example through creating compelling pieces for social media and hard copy publications. 

You’re a fast learner and clearly very able. You are clever, proactive, pragmatic and financially astute. Your influencing and diplomatic skills are strong. Your social skills are brilliant with people of all ages and walks of life. Your oral and written communication skills are excellent, and you’ll need them for working with Merchant Taylors’ boards and committees and communicating with the Company’s membership. You’re not afraid of taking responsibility, or being accountable. You are a strategic thinker. You’re great on the big picture as well as the detail. You’re confident with figures and financial information. You’re also confident with IT and, given we’re a small team, you’ll love using IT applications to help us work efficiently. 

You don’t need a professional background in education. The qualities above are much more important. This job could suit someone with great potential who is looking for the next step up, or someone who can already demonstrate experience of everything from their career to date. About the role

The Associate Director of Regular Giving is a key new role for UCL and the Office of the Vice-President (Advancement). Safe Evolve, Early Intervention service is a new service commissioned by the London Borough of Ealing and represent an exciting partnership with the Anna Freud. The service offers brief evidence-based individual and group interventions to address mild to moderate wellbeing needs largely using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-informed and mentalization approaches. It consists of two teams: one a specialist schools outreach service and the second a community well-being team for children and families.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Operations Lead who will ensure the smooth running of CCX day-to-day operations. As lead of the Operations Team, you will oversee the finance, HR, coordination of data, IT applications and integration, and corporate governance functions.

The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) helps the Church make disciples in new and renewed ways. We work with willing partners across the Church to catalyse multiplication, equipping leaders through adaptive learning pathways.

We are an agile missional centre, on the edge of the institution. Our team seeks to be audacious, holding a God-shaped ambition; generous; and committed to working together.

CCX’s organisational structure is a hybrid management model, blending elements of both functional and project-based structures. Project teams are formed to address specific initiatives, tasks, or delivery projects. These teams are cross-functional, comprising individuals from different specialties, typically with a project manager working under the direction of a CCX lead. The two core teams of Operations and Media operate as shared services across the organisation.

Under the direction of the Bishop of Islington, a suffragan bishop of the London Diocese, CCX supports church planting and church growth work in London, nationally and beyond.

Collaboration and partnership will be key features of this role, working closely with the Bishop, Chief of Staff, and Team Leads. This role has a strong focus on agile and efficient systems development and improvement, resource optimisation and stakeholder engagement.

They are expected to perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative, and judgement, including knowing when to resolve issues and challenges directly and when to escalate.
