Job Overview:
The Talent Set is thrilled to be working with a leading organisation as they search for a Senior Communications Officer, to support their team for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you'll spearhead media advocacy efforts and craft communication strategies aimed at driving positive change. Utilising social media platforms, you'll engage with stakeholders and amplify impactful narratives. You'll also collaborate with our public involvement team to amplify stories. Your contributions will directly contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of our target audience globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute innovative communication campaigns in collaboration with marketing, policy, and public affairs teams, focusing on key priorities.
- Foster strong media relationships and oversee our press office to promote coverage of our initiatives and relevant issues.
- Drive proactive external communications, producing compelling content for various audiences, such as statements, press releases, and blogs.
- Develop engaging content for social media and websites, including multimedia elements like videos, podcasts, and webinars.
- Cultivate partnerships with NHS entities and women's health organisations to leverage collaborative communication opportunities.
- Manage core communication and media processes, including planning tools, activity logs, and evaluation reports.
Person Specification:
- Proven track record in developing and executing creative integrated communication campaigns.

The Role
The Philanthropy & Research Manager will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy to deliver on their ambitious strategy. This person will help cultivate a pipeline of ideas and manage a concentrated portfolio of philanthropic partnerships for the long-term. They will contribute to the portfolio by conducting deep, critical research in line with the inthallo’s unique approach and criteria. This will involve applying due diligence by prioritising qualitative factors and building purposeful relationships to deliver mutually beneficial engagement plans. The approach focuses on the identification of organisations with a unique, scalable offering and the potential to deliver transformational societal returns. In addition to this, this person will conduct sector specific or thematic research projects and share them with the wider team to contribute to the learning of the whole organisation.
The Person
We are looking for critical research ability, proven potential to grow, and an intellectually curious mindset. These traits are essential to success in this role, more so, than very specific backgrounds. Previous research experience in an analytical capacity is a definite a plus.
This person will have substantial experience (3-5 years) of working in environments such as philanthropy, either within grant making through family, corporate or independent foundations or possibly within the corporate or investment world where social impact and transformational change is the end goal. We welcome applications from other sectors where the person has had to conduct quantitative and qualitative research and appraise projects.

Reporting to the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, the new Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager will lead and advise on the delivery of global policy, public affairs and stakeholder engagement activities that champion the protection and support of workers. You will have excellent research capabilities and use your findings to produce high-quality reports, with an ability to communicate and produce policy priorities. The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working 2 days per week from their London office.
The purpose of Senior Health Information Manager is to ensure that all women, and their partners and families, have high quality up-to-date, evidence-based and inclusive health information for every stage of their pregnancy journey, including pregnancy loss if it happens.
Key Responsibilities:
· Overseeing a cycle of continuous improvement of all health information products.
· Using quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods to implement a framework to measure the effectiveness of health information products.
· Establishing a dashboard and reporting back to the Head of Information monthly on agreed KPIs.
· Owning the information review production schedule and responsible for the development and maintenance of all existing health information products. Establishing deadlines and monitoring the progress of information products.
· Owning the health information SEO strategy and implementation, ensuring that recommendations are followed to achieve maximum reach.
· Owning the PIF accredited publishing and review process, ensuring they are adhered to scrupulously, including taking ownership of processes, templates and guidance that support this.
· Convening and leading expert, stakeholder and service user groups in the development and maintenance of health information to ensure new and existing products are needed, relevant, evidence-based and user-centred.
· Commissioning freelance or agency help where required.
· Managing the information content budget,
· Managing product insight phases from brief development through to recommendations, including formative research.
· Ensuring all health and social care information is up to date, clinically checked, accurate and reviewed by relevant experts.

Your new company
I am working exclusively with a Regulator, and we are looking for a Senior Policy Officer to join the Standards team on a permanent basis. This role works across the organisation on numerous programmes that are integral to the work of the regulator. You will be supporting the two Policy managers to enforce minister policies from Central Government departments. The team within this regulator regularly promotes internally.
Your new role
The successful candidate will be:
- Manage policy initiatives from start to finish and provide support to the development of the standards to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to contribute to a programme of cross-org policy initiatives.
- Conduct desk-based research to support policy development, ensuring evidence-based policy decisions are being made.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including facilitating workshops, focus groups and policy forums.
- Work closely with colleagues from the devolved nations and NI.
What you'll need to succeed

- Experience of Policy work, at the Policy Assistant, Officer, Senior Officer, or Advisor level.

- Worked for a Charity, Non-Profit, Regulator or Government Body (highly desirable)
