My client is a global membership organisation, supporting its delegates throughout their careers and setting international standards in transparency. With plans for considerable growth over the next 5 years, they have a real ambition for the future.
Part of this change requires a review of existing back-office functions to ensure they are fit for purpose and growth. As such they are currently looking for an interim Finance Transformation Consultant to lead on a programme of improvement across their accounting function. Key deliverables being process efficiency and a greater input and influence in the wider business.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Finance Director in setting up the finance transformation programme, including sequencing enablers, improvement initiatives and managing any high level dependencies.
- Produce, implement and regularly report on project progress against delivery plan.
- Review and document existing finance business processes, identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing finance processes and potential solutions for discussion and agreement.
- Lead initiatives to streamline and optimise problems identified, including reengineering processes, implementing quick win changes to existing systems.
- Assess finance technology and identify opportunities to leverage new systems to enhance finance operations and reporting.
- Define key performance indicators and metrics to measure the effectiveness of finance transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a significant track record in delivering similar change programmes. A self starter, who can work with autonomy to get things done, you will have the right balance of detailed operational focus as well as be able to offer strategic insight.
This role has been assessed as outside of IR35 and can be offered on a fully remote basis.

Would you like to join a small team led by the Fire Safety Manager as a safety Champion?
You will be part of a small team dedicated to ensuring the college fulfils its legal requirements, providing the adequacy of future construction projects, and fosters a culture of continuous fire safety improvement. In this role, you will be conducting fire risk assessments throughout the college estate to ensure compliance with current fire safety laws.
As Fire Safety Officer your everyday tasks will include:
- Conducting, documenting, and reviewing fire risk assessments for college buildings across all campuses and offering improvement & implementing recommendations as needed.
- Providing legislative and technical fire safety advice to senior managers and appointed personnel.
- Offering technical and legislative guidance for college projects, liaising with project managers, architects, and building control bodies.
- Conducting fire safety audits and inspections.
- Developing and implementing fire safety policies and codes of practice.
- Coordinating with Enforcing Authority Inspecting Officers during inspections, addressing concerns and collating relevant documentation.
- Developing and reviewing emergency plans for college buildings and implementing fire drill programs.
- Investigating fires and fire alarm activations, establishing causes and making recommendations to mitigate future occurrences.
- Providing technical advice for personal emergency egress plans and supervising hot works permit applications.
- Planning and delivering in-house fire training, compiling statistics on fire safety incidents, and producing associated reports.
- Liaising with event planners regarding conferences and events held on College premises.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant College policies, including Financial Regulations, Equal Opportunities Policy, Health and Safety Policy, and others.
As Fire Safety Officer your attributes, skills & Experience will include:
- Possession of a Level 3 professional qualification or equivalent, such as the NEBOSH National General Certificate, coupled with relevant experience in a comparable position.
- Proven comprehension of fire safety laws, relevant technical standards, guidance documents, codes of practice, and practical fire safety management.
- Proficient in intermediate IT skills, encompassing Microsoft/Office 365 Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and familiarity with cloud-based storage systems, with delegated access to emails and calendars.
- Capable of analysing fire risks and devising appropriate, often technical or intricate, mitigating or control measures with minimal need for referral.
- Skilled in interpreting architectural and engineering plan drawings and offering constructive feedback on proposed designs.
- Extensive and up-to-date background as a full-time fire safety specialist, consultant, or authority inspecting officer, operating in diverse major premises.
- Notable proficiency in fire risk assessment, employing PAS 79 methodology, across a spectrum of large and intricate premises with various risk scenarios.
- Hands-on experience in implementing fire safety legislation, management strategies, and fundamental principles of fire engineering.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with Local Trust in recruiting a Senior Support Coordinator. This role will be essential to assist the organisation to deliver the promised funding to local areas across Engand by the 2026 deadline. The position is being offered on an 18-month fixed term contract basis.
This role can be offered on a fully remote or partially remote basis, with monthly team meetings in the office and travel for work which is remunerated.
Local Trust was established in 2012 to deliver Big Local, a National Lottery Community Fund-funded programme which committed £1m each to 150 neighbourhoods across England. The £217m originally provided by The National Lottery Community Fund to support this programme is the largest single-purpose Lottery-funded endowment ever made, and the biggest ever investment by a non-state funder in place-based, resident-led change.
Local Trust's Delivery Team is responsible for leading the effective delivery of Big Local over the final years of the programme, and ensuring Local Trust gets the right support to areas, especially those that face significant challenges in spending their area allocation by March 2026, which will often need more intensive and more bespoke interventions.
The delivery support team leads the commissioning and management of Local Trust’s contractual relationship with a wide range of partners (including our pool of Area Advisers), ensuring they are appropriately managed to deliver high quality, relevant and effective services to Big Local areas, enabling them deliver on their plans, close out from the programme successfully, and achieve their ambitions for legacy.
The Senior Coordinator for Delivery Support will play a dynamic role, reporting to the Delivery Support Manager, leading on range of contracts, and maintaining strong internal networks across Local Trust.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight contractual deadlines. This person will be able to initiate and maintain effective and productive working relationships whilst being supportive and decisive when necessary to ensure objectives are met. Charity service delivery experience will be essential in addition to having a deep insight into how funding works on a local and national basis. Community development, social justice, housing, community cohesion will all play a part in this important work, so someone who shares these interests and can bring programme management and delivery knowledge to the table. This person will be experienced in stakeholder management, will have strong budget monitoring acumen and a broad and confident knowledge of databases and all relevant MS Office products.

My Client, a prominent British Charity is looking for a Programme Manager to play a crucial role in driving successful delivery of the Transformation Management Office’s objectives.
Offering a fully remote working model and paying £233/day for the duration of the 3-6 month contract, you will need the following experience;
Essential
- Demonstratable experience managing a large scale and wide range of complex non-technology exclusive projects and programmes
- Experience of end-to-end programme management from definition to closure and benefits realisation
- Thorough knowledge of techniques and tools for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes (including risk management)
- Working understanding of project cost forecasting, workforce resource management and project planning
- Experience preparing and presenting business cases, invitations to tender and statements of requirements both orally and in writing
- Excellent IT skills, proficient in MS Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel & Outlook
Desirable
- At least one formal Project Management qualification (Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner, AMP etc)
