Arthritis Action is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and adaptable Office Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth running of our office.
This is a varied and integral role providing administrative support to Arthritis Action’s Finance, Executive Management, Services Teams and Trustees, working under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
Your role will provide day to day operational assistance in our London office including: meeting and diary management, writing minutes and providing admin support across the Charity. Liaison with the landlord and office suppliers, assist with finance including processing direct debits, staff credit cards and supplier invoices and compiling monthly reports. You will also be the first port of call for incoming calls and manage incoming/outgoing post and IT administration.
Key Responsibilities – the role will include but not be restricted to:
- Providing admin support to the Finance, Executive Management and Services Teams
- Ensuring smooth running of the office and troubleshooting issues that arise
Office & Executive Admin
- Support CEO with scheduling meetings, database entries and diary management
- Support with administration of Committee & Trustee meetings, and writing minutes
- Provide admin support for the Executive Management Team
- Responsible for premises troubleshooting, arranging minor repairs, cleaners, and refurbishment
- Liaise with landlord and office contacts where necessary
- Deal with incoming and external post and franking machine.

Finance
- Process staff credit card transactions
- Set up and process all direct debits and reconcile with monthly reports from the Direct Debit supplier
- Upload invoices, donations and other transactions, and file supplier invoices
- Other ad hoc finance tasks
Services & Team Support
- Be the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls to Arthritis Action
- Organise monthly team meetings and write the minutes

Key Responsibilities
1. Supervision and Team Support:
- Support the Youth Worker in Charge in providing guidance, mentorship and support to the youth workers and volunteers.

4. Administrative Support:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of attendance, programme participation and individual progress.
- Support in the preparation of reports, statistics and evaluations to assess program impact and inform decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations governing youth clubs and child protection.
5. Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with the Youth Worker in Charge to establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools and community stakeholders.
- Assist in organizing community events, workshops and initiatives that promote youth participation and strengthen community connections.
- Represent the youth club at meetings and events as needed to support community engagement efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
-Level 2 or higher in a related field (e.g., social work, youth development, education) or equivalent practical experience.

This role is based in Ipswich. As a Team Leader you will:

Public Voice is a partner in the Haringey Advice Partnership (HAP) which is delivering the Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service in Haringey from April 2022 to March 2025 with an option to extend for a further four years. Senior Youth Participation Officer
Fitzrovia Youth in Action is looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person for our Senior Youth Participation Officer role. If you feel like this is you, we would love to hear from you!
The post holder will coordinate and develop our new young people drop-in programme and additional youth action programmes, aimed at engaging local young people into the work of FYA. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of the drop-in sessions, as well as deliver some youth led social action programmes. The role will include recruiting young people, engaging them in co-producing fun and creative activities and workshops which will take place at the drop-ins, as well as supporting them in planning and delivering the social action programmes.
Typically, sessions will occur Sundays (TBC) and young people from the ages 8 to 18 will attend. We are also planning to start a second drop-in session from September, which is likely to run on a Friday evening.
The post holder will support young people to plan some social action programmes directly, as well as support young people into other youth-led community action programmes at FYA.
Examples of projects include youth-led football tournaments, street parties and festivals and peer education activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using our online Grants Management System Fluxx, oversee a portfolio of grants through a grant implementation process from grant set up through to grant closure, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Act as the operational focal person for grantees and provide support throughout the grant cycle on contractual, operational and reporting matters, drawing on and coordinating expertise from the Grants Managers and Fiduciary Risk Team (FRT)
