Charity Nest is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that helps small charities work with big brands. The UK is experiencing a significant decline in the small charity sector, with more small charities closing each year than opening. This is concerning because 78% of small charities work on a local level, compared to only 5% of super-major charities. Charity Nest specialises in helping local charities work with big brands, ensuring the charities generate true social impact and the brands deliver on their CSR objectives.
As a Fundraiser, you will be based onsite at various venues and build relationships with the public to raise vital funds through bucket collections to support your assigned charity. You will be supported with full training and equipment for the role and be raising funds through cash and card donations whilst also raising awareness for your assigned charity. With venues across the North West, there are various locations where this role can be based including, Manchester, Preston, Liverpool, Leeds and others.
To be successful as a Fundraiser, you will have strong relationship building skills and be motivated to raise funds for meaningful causes. Ideally this person will have either some sales experience or fundraising experience. This could be from personal fundraisers such as gaining sponsorship for a challenge event, bake sales, or any other type of group or self-led fundraiser. This role will need to be available to work some Saturdays and there is daily travel of 30-90 minutes.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will be based in the North West region, dependent on your location. There is a base pay rate of £70 per day, as well as 35% commission on any funds you have raised each day.

Camphill Village Trust is seeking a new Data Officer to join their team. Camphill Village Trust is a UK charity that supports over 600 adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and complex needs across nine communities and services in England through supported living and day placement opportunities.
A significant aspect involves managing the Charity’s IT hardware and software to ensure they meet the organisation's needs, including planning upgrades and coordinating IT training events. Additionally, the role covers managing telecommunications and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. It also involves working closely with the Head of Finance and external companies on new IT developments and data protection policies, ensuring the Charity's practices align with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate would have experience providing IT support, be organised, have strong communication skills, and have a good understanding of Office 365 systems. They should be proactive, resourceful, and possess a problem-solving disposition, able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including external support companies. They should be organised and methodical, combining accuracy with attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines. The Legacy Giving Manager will collaborate closely with the Head of Fundraising to oversee the legacy and in-memoriam giving program. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in developing and executing successful legacy giving strategies, particularly around legacy stewardship. As the Trusts Officer, you will act as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of trusts and foundations, primarily up to £50,000. You will support the Head of Fundraising with larger multi-year bids and applications and proactively identify funding opportunities and to further build a robust trusts pipeline.
They are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering income from Trusts and Foundations. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skill along with demonstrable experience of producing high quality funding reports for Trusts and Foundations.

There's a bold organisational ambition is to secure two new high value accounts (£5 million+), so you'll work closely with new business colleagues to develop the products and services to make this a reality.
The scope and scale of the offer and case for support is primed and ready to go - we just need a superstar to present the proposition to the right partners. You'll take on the account management of existing partnerships with Aviva and National Grid, proactively building awareness internally and externally to showcase and celebrate success.
