Make a difference in the lives of children affected by domestic abuse. PACT's Bounce Back 4 Kids (BB4K) team is growing, and we need a passionate individual to join us in this innovative programme.
Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) is a lifeline for children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse. Sadly, the demand for our programme continues to rise. We supported 223 families in 2023 through individual and group therapeutic support sessions.
We are recruiting a Support Worker to be a guiding hand for children and families on their healing journey.

About the Role
As Shop Support & Projects Manager, you will provide focused support on defined areas, working alongside the Shop Managers in each shop to understand the shop, community, and proposition.
This is an exciting new role with huge opportunity to impact the success of our shops in Portobello, Islington and Windsor, and to act as an ambassador for our brand in the local communities!
Working closely with the Shop Managers in each shop, you'll take on a varied role delivering on key areas of work to enable the delivery of the shop's potential. An initial focus of your role will be on volunteer recruitment and retention as we look to grow our existing volunteer teams, including ensuring they receive amazing training and support when they join us!
You will help embed new processes and best practice ways of working to empower our volunteer teams and help the Shop Manager drive the shop forward, capturing your successes and learnings to share across other teams and shops.
At times, you'll also take on responsibility for day-to-day operations or leadership of the shop, providing key support and additional capacity to the Shop Manager to enable the shop's continued success.
About You
You will be someone with exceptional project coordination skills, who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering.
You'll bring:
- Project coordination or operations experience within retail or a transferable setting, e.g. community engagement, volunteer management, retail operations etc.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build & maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people.
- A flexible, positive and resilient attitude, able to work at pace in a fast-moving environment.
- Results driven approach with experience of working to targets.
- Experience and confidence using a range of IT platforms including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as systems for the management of other areas (e.g. reporting, volunteer management).
Previous charity retail experience is not essential. If you have transferable project management experience and are looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you!

Fleet Administrator
Part Time - 21 hours per week

About the role:
This Best Companies Top 100 mid-sized company and Top 20 charity is looking to appoint a Fleet Administrator. This is a newly created part time role following a period of growth. The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for the efficient administration of the fleet to ensure that Rainbow Trust vehicles are managed effectively, accurate records are maintained, and costs are minimised, working closely with suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the fleet with minimal disruption.
The Fleet Administrator will form a vital part of the Finance and Operations Team supporting the Facilities & IT Manager in the management of the Rainbow Trust fleet. Rainbow Trust operates a fleet of approximately seventy vehicles situated across our nine regional teams. It is vitally important that our Family Support Workers have a reliable vehicle for attending family visits and transporting families to hospital.
Full training will be provided and previous experience of managing a fleet is not required, although is desirable. A good level of maths, excellent communication, planning and Microsoft Excel skills are required to be successful in this role.
This is an excellent opportunity to maintain a breadth of fleet administrator experience with increased responsibility.

· Highly motivated and disciplined approach to work – good customer service with the ability to liaise with different stakeholders, manage workload effectively and respond well to change.
· A helpful and supportive team member – who can work collaboratively with others.
· A high level of attention to detail and accuracy – producing precise, high quality, consistent work to meet deadlines.
· Confident use of MSOffice and extensive experience of Excel – you have strong attention to detail, are comfortable working with data, and produce high quality accurate work.
· Applications will be particularly welcome from those who have experience of fleet administration – acting as the main point of contact for vehicle issues and liaising with leasing and insurance companies. Full training will be provided where required.

About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker (maternity cover, up to 12 months) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Southampton Care Team.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness
Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you will have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss, and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.
What we’re looking for:
· An experienced child health, education or social care professional - applications will be particularly welcome from those who have worked in a community environment and those with a recognised qualification in education, health or social care.
· A warm, inclusive approach to achieving goals quickly and correctly.
· Practiced in child protection, information sharing and the rules around data protection - you lead by example, drawing on your own professional experience and working within established guidelines.
· Practical and people-oriented - you will thrive working at a fast pace whilst maintaining accuracy and be a confident user of IT (including MSOffice)
· A persuasive and open communicator, you will work collaboratively with your team and volunteers to ensure delivery of a high-quality service and support fundraising colleagues by writing case studies and family updates
· A practical knowledge of diversity issues affecting children, young people, and their families – aware that being responsive to others needs and concerns, is essential.
