As Project Support Officer you will support the Northern Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training (such as DBS, references, Food Safety Level 2, First Aid), giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our Yorkshire & The Humber projects to aid development and growth within the region.
Our projects are run by volunteers and supported by Regional Managers, through recruitment and training of volunteers. Your role will be to support the Regional Manager so that they can manage more projects, along with supporting the Regional Manager with expansion plans within their areas. This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, and recruiting new volunteers for the region.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to talk confidently to external people about our Projects. You will also be a good organizer, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within multiple Projects. You will have a passion for food and cooking, and be committed to our objectives and ethics.
The role will require attendance at our Community Meals projects in Leeds, Sheffield, Hull and Bradford, with occasional evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.
Benefits: We offer 26.5 working days (this includes 3.5 days for the Christmas close down) plus additional holiday for length of service, up to a maximum of 30 days (pro-rata for part-time). We are looking for a motivated and efficient person with willingness to develop her skills to join our Youth Service team to help grow the Youth Mentoring programme. The post holder will provide key monitoring and administrative duties, provide 1-to-1 support to mentors, and help with the overall running of the programme as stated by the Mentor & Parent Liaison Manager. The Youth Mentoring programme includes up to 120 mentoring relationships annually.

We are recruiting a Project Coordinator to oversee the delivery and development of a flagship Community Wellbeing Project, which operates in partnership with Brent Council. The project is a Community Hub hosted in a community space in Stonebridge (not in Sufra’s existing premises). Members of the project can access a Community Shop, a Community Café and Kitchen, and holistic support in the form of Advice casework and workshops. The objective of the project is to deliver food aid alongside wraparound holistic support in way that improves the financial, physical and mental wellbeing of its members, who are struggling with the cost of living.
This collaborative project has been made possible due to the support of multiple partners and has already proven highly successful. It is likely to form the basis of a new model of support for people experiencing vulnerabilities that will be replicated across Brent and possibly elsewhere in London.
The Project Coordinator will oversee the delivery of the project, ensuring both the shop and the café operate effectively and in accordance with agreed standards and procedures. The successful candidate will help shape the project in the months ahead, whilst supporting guests, collecting data, and monitoring and evaluating the project. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy and varied environment, managing multiple priorities at the same time. They will have experience in a customer-facing role, dealing with the general public and managing volunteers. It would be beneficial for the post holder to have experience supporting vulnerable people with complex needs from a wide variety of backgrounds. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for members that sign onto the pilot project, and will be representing the organisation to external partners. We are currently recruiting for a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach's. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent fundraising results and fundraising compliance standards and specifically the delivery of performance improvements in our F2F fundraisers through coaching, training, and continuous development. The role will also involve direct fundraising where you will be expected to meet a personal target.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for coaching the performance of multiple teams in the region that will consist of lone workers, pairs of fundraisers to bigger teams as the income plan increases.
- Responsible for an individual fundraising target and set of KPI’s that include inspiring people to become long-term monthly donors, generating income through contactless one-off donations and acquiring newsletter prospecting sign ups in a range of locations including residential door-to-door, town and city centres, private venues, and events and more commonly on our private land, the canal and river Towpaths.
- Acting as a hands-on fundraiser who leads by example, delivering fundraising income through signing up Friends and generating contactless income whilst demonstrating the Canal & River Trust ‘s values and behaviours.
- Generating income and being present on-site to visit fundraising teams, fundraise with them, cover sickness absence, coach performance, provide training & development of fundraisers, reinforce our culture of health & safety, embed compliance standards.
- Provide phone coaching and in-person coaching of fundraisers to support meeting their targets and KPI’s and in individual cases working with fundraisers to improve their results from their current level of performance to the required standard by equipping them with the technical and psychological training to work to their very best.
- Identify training requirements and deliver on and off field training and coaching to grow income.

- Support the delivery of performance incentives and setting up/editing teams on Evergiving and the rota.
- Provision of daily reports of observations and actions taken, areas of success, results for that day and areas of training and development identified.
- Process all sensitive and data protected information obtained by donors as confidential and in a safe and secure manner in line with the Trust’s GDPR and Security Procedures.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

Would you like to join a service that makes a difference to older people in Wales? As a Regional Volunteer Officer living in North or Mid Wales you will help meet the Community Assistance Project objectives by recruiting, inducting, training and supporting suitable volunteers within the region to deliver support at a community level, working closely and in collaboration with local partners.
About you:
- You will be able to work with others to deliver successful projects and services
- You will have experience of recruiting, managing and working with volunteers

If successful you will:
- Implement the volunteer recruitment plan for the region
- Process all volunteer applications in a timely and professional way, taking the prospective volunteers through the Community Assistance Project recruitment process
- Ensure all prospective volunteers are inducted with Age Cymru and Community Assistance Project partners across the region
- Ensure the delivery of all the relevant training required
- Provide a mentoring / buddying system for the new volunteers
- Ensure all volunteers have appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service checks prior to starting the role.
- Provide ongoing support to volunteers
- When referrals are received, match the service user with the most appropriate volunteer while ensuring a high quality, timely and responsive service is provided
- Identify and attend relevant networks, publicise the Community Assistance Project, establish community links with all appropriate stakeholders and promote the service through a range of methods
- Promote and cascade information, including real-life examples of positive intervention through all available methods
- Maintain accurate and up to date records in the region utilising our case management system and other databases, to provide for the effective monitoring and evaluation of the project
- Support programme evaluation through surveys and questionnaires
- Make onward referrals internally or externally to provide a holistic support package for service users

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager it is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Shop Manager in Scope's brand new Fulham shop (Opening shortly). You’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.
About you
You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. You will also demonstrate an appreciation of Scope’s values and ambition of achieving Everyday Equality for disabled people.

Our shops are the face of our retail brand, run by a dedicated, creative and passionate bunch of superstars. We focus on sustainable fashion and engaging with local communities. We lead our volunteers to deliver a great colleague and customer experience. And we raise much needed funds to deliver Everyday Equality for disabled people and their families.

It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day, so some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. We work 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.

About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide crucial support to enable the life changing service we provide for women who have survived trafficking, exploitation and other forms of violence. The role will provide support to the Service Manager, line management to volunteers and high quality casework support to survivors living in our safe house accommodation. The postholder will need to demonstrate a person-centred approach to ensure the provision of an excellent aftercare service
for survivors.
The postholder will have significant experience of providing practical and emotional support to survivors. They will be able to develop, sustain, and evaluate joint work between agencies, establish good working relationships and negotiate effectively. We are looking for someone who can develop strong partnerships with other community organisations and groups, both locally within boroughs and London wide.

Ella’s is a London-based organisation working with women who have survived trafficking and sexual exploitation. Our mission is to do everything we can to ensure survivors have all they need to recover and build lives that are safe and free.
Here is a summary of our main activities:

We run three safe houses. This supported accommodation is crucial for survivors, until they are ready and able to live independently.
