A Day in Your Life

CharityJOB is launching a new feature called A Day in the Life, which will aim to give people an insight into what working in the charity sector is really like. For this we need dozens of short descriptions of what a typical day is like, covering all kinds of jobs.

If you are currently employed in the not-for-profit sector we would love you to describe a day in your life, using the form below.

Please note that we no longer make payments for published submissions.

Ideally we would like to publish your name and the name of the organisation you work for. But you are welcome to withhold those details if you wish.

Writing Tips

  • Your description can be of a real day or of a fictional (yet still realistic) day. Remember the aim is to give a picture of the range of activities that your job involves.
  • Around 600 words is fine
  • You may wish find it helpful to see some examples on AllHousingJobs, our sister site.
