End date

Develop the skills, knowledge, understanding and confidence to support pupils in your school who are experiencing loss and grief.
Learning outcomes
Each school attending this scheduled workshop will receive a copy of our schools information pack – ‘Supporting bereaved children and young people in school’, which is also available to purchase at £5.00 per pack.
Who should attend?
Suitable for anyone who works in a primary or secondary school, including teachers, head teachers, learning mentors, school nurses, other support staff and governors.
We encourage prospective participants to consider their own experience of loss and how it might affect them during training. Generally speaking, our training is not usually suited to anyone who has suffered a recent, significant personal loss or bereavement.
Fee
Fees for participants include course materials, a CPD certificate of attendance, refreshments and light lunch. We would like to thank Irwin Mitchell for kindly providing the venue for this training date.
“An excellent, informative workshop and questions that I had before the workshop have been answered. I feel better equipped to support the child in my class whose mother has recently died. Thank you – I will be recommending to others.” Course delegate
