Safer London Foundation (SLF) works to make London a safer city and for everyone living and working in the capital to feel safe and be safe. SLF engages with young Londoners and inspires those involved in crime, or at risk of violence and crime, to feel empowered. SLF’s unique role involves developing projects to support police and communities. They help the youth of London recognise they have choices and build productive lives free from criminal behaviour.
In order to increase impact and make London safer, SLF must grow income alongside the funding from the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPC), public sector organisations and fundraising events. The Business Development Director will join the senior management team, taking responsibility for fundraising from, in particular, corporate organisations, major donors and events.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, creative, and inspired by the opportunity to grow the organisation and take it into a new direction. You will have experience of developing income generation plans to support the vision and business objectives of an organisation, and have generated income from corporates, major donors, events, trusts and foundations.
