The Website Analytics Officer will be responsible for setting up, reporting and analysing key performance indicators for digital activities and providing actionable insights and intervention plans to improve return on investment.
Focused on tracking and reporting on key website and user metrics, the role will play a crucial part in the optimisation of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s (ARUK) website and digital channels.
This role will work closely with the Digital Content Manager and Digital Campaigns team, providing detailed analytics, reporting and recommendations to improve website and campaign design. Working closely with ARUK’s data team, this role provides a link between our campaign and website data with our CRM and data warehouse.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
- Use various programmes, such as Google Analytics to monitor and report on website user and performance data.
- Provide recommendations to the Web team on website and user journey improvements based on data insights, taking into account ARUK’s different supporter types.
- Support the Digital Campaigns team by analysing the digital effectiveness and conversion results of campaigns.
- Support the Digital Campaigns team by providing timely detailed reports for digital campaigns and assist with communicating results to other ARUK teams.
- Support on setting up events, goals, and managing Google Tag Manager to ensure KPIs are captured on the website.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards in Google Analytics and Looker Studio.
- Provide recommendations on future campaigns based on historic data insights.
- Work closely with our partner Web Agency and third-party digital marketing agencies and supporting with the tracking across our social media platforms.
- Provide recommendations on suitable A/B tests.
- Work closely with ARUK’s Data team, ensuring alignment between our digital and data systems.
What we are looking for:
- Experience collecting digital data for a medium sized organisation.
- Experience in providing actionable data insights to a digital team.
- Detailed knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience of using website user monitoring tools such as HotJar.
- High level of competence across social media platforms and setting up tracking for marketing campaigns.
- Experience of reviewing and trouble-shooting of anomalies in data sets.
- Organisation – managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- An understanding Search Engine Optimisation best practise.
- An analytical and questioning mind.
- Strong Data Studio skills, with the ability to set up data sources and dashboards.
- Strong MS Excel Skills.

We are in the early stages of implementing our 10-year organisational strategy, ARUK: Towards a Cure. Sitting within the Chief Executive’s Office and reporting to the Head of Programme Management, the Project and Programme Manager leads the Project Management team and is responsible for driving complex, strategic projects and facilitating project management best practice across the wider organisation. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Project management

Working with two highly experienced Programme Coordinators, you will help to grow our existing Youth Development Team activities, currently present in Hampton, and continue the development of our newly launched Aspire project.
This is a maternity cover role for a minimum period of 6 months starting in June. You will be based in Peterborough but also spend time at our centre in Cambridge.
You will manage our Lead Youth Development Worker and Aspire Development Worker, in Peterborough, encouraging them to establish positive relationships with young people, from which we development activities, and provide advice and support.
Joining a growing Peterborough team, you’ll support the expansion of weekly groups, one-to-one work, family support, school-based alternative education, trips and residential experiences. Increasing partnership working with local community groups and agencies will be key to this.
Romsey Mill's Youth Development Team (YDT) works with disadvantaged, at-risk and vulnerable young people (aged 10 - 21 years) across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. YDT are passionate about supporting young people to overcome challenges, live fulfilling lives and inspire change in the world. We currently engage around 1200 young people each year. Aspire is the name of Romsey Mill’s project that supports autistic children and young people. We currently deliver 14 specialist youth clubs across Cambridge, Cambourne, Linton and Hampton supporting over 180 autistic young people. We’re excited about further extending the work across Peterborough. You will work out of the office Romsey Mill rents at CSK Church in Hampton for 3-4 days per week. We utilise space there and in other community facilities for the delivery of activities. You will also spend 1-2 days working from Romsey Mill Centre, Cambridge.

About the role
Hours:7.4 hours total (with possibility of increase dependent on funding)

Background to the post
An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing the financial administration of the Asylum Justice office, maintaining accurate financial records and accounts (with support from the Treasurer), claiming GiftAid, and liaising with suppliers. This role will have limited client contact as the focus of the role is to lead on maintaining financial processes.
Key responsibilities and duties
The post holder will have the following areas of responsibility: -
1. Finance (90%)
a.Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and set up online payments for authorisation;
b.Draft monthly payroll figures to send to the accountants.
c.Work with the Funding Officer to use QuickBooks in keeping track of payments and grant fund expenditures.
d.Liaise with the Treasurer and Chair of Asylum Justice in order to produce quarterly budget reports.
e.Aid preparation of financial information and budgets for funding bids, grant reporting and audits with support from the Treasurer and Funding Officer.
f.Liaise with auditor and Treasurer for annual accounts.
g.Process GiftAid claims with support from Funding Officer.
h.Perform other financial administrative duties where necessary.
2. Operations Support (10%)
a.Assist in procuring equipment / supplies / services / travel / accommodation as required.
b.Liaise with suppliers such as our IT Consultant / case management system provider to ensure maintenance of the organisation’s infrastructure.
c.Manage of accreditation/subscription renewals and safe and accurate storing of key documents in the operations SharePoint.
3. General
a.To work within Asylum Justice Policies and Procedures at all times;

They will provide vital logistical, financial and administrative support and coordination required to successfully run and deliver the University Mental Health Charter Programme and Award, achieve the Sector Improvement Team’s key objectives, and contribute to the whole charity’s mission and goals. This is an exciting opportunity to help the team scale the University Mental Health Charter, with the potential to impact 2.5 million staff and students across the UK.
From booking travel and accommodation, holding responsibility for the planning and administration of the Purchase Order sheets, to liaising with the many stakeholders involved in the assessment and programme processes, you will have an opportunity to be involved in an interesting, fast paced and exciting role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistical support
- Provide effective logistical and administrative support to the Sector Improvement Programme(s), working closely with the Sector Improvement Lead and Programme Managers to ensure the successful delivery of the programmes
- Support the the planning and delivery of key Sector Improvement Programme activities including online and in-person events, handling the administrative and logistical tasks e.g. venue booking and travel arrangements
- Support the Charter Award Process by managing logistics for assessors during Award site visits and handling related bookings
- Use of our Project Management tools to set and receive work, manage deadlines and workflows alongside colleagues to complete projects and Programmes in a timely manner, ensuring high quality of work
Financial support
- Assist in onboarding the University Mental Health Charter Programme by managing administrative tasks such as purchase orders and processing documents (e.g. MOUs, new supplier forms etc.) and outstanding payments
- Administer finances for our Sector Improvement programmes; issuing purchase orders and ensuring timely payments
- Work with finance colleagues to ensure correct processes and procedures are followed accurately and compliant with finance requirements, and identify areas for process improvement
- Act as a cardholder for the team, making online purchases such as accommodation and travel bookings and following policies, procedures and guidance in the correct and responsible use of the Student Minds card
Data and process administration
- Administer data processes for the University Mental Health Charter Programme and Award process, in line with Data Protection Guidelines
- Collate and analyse evaluation data from Sector Improvement events (online and in person), generating timely reports and make recommendations for programme improvement
- Create essential documents requested by the Sector Improvement Programme team to support programme delivery and scalability
- Provide support to the Sector Improvement Team and Award Managers to enable efficient Award Assessment accreditation processes
- Maintain key working relationships with our network of Assessors and University Award Leads, addressing queries, scheduling and minuting award panels, sharing actions with the team
Working together
- Work closely with the Programme Liaison Officer to successfully deliver all aspects of the role, including managing university relationships, ensuring tasks are picked between roles and when required
- Attend programme-related meetings, and maintain communications with programme participants and key stakeholders through maintaining and use of up-to-date database(s)
- Actively participate in the testing and embedding of new digital systems to improve programme efficiency and engagement
- Stay updated on developments in Higher Education and gather insights from sector partners to feed into team decisions
- Look for opportunities to develop systems and processes to improve ways of working and participate in discussions on the Sector Improvement Team development and improvement
Other duties
- Such other duties as may be reasonably prescribed by the organisation, appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of this post
- Attend regular team meetings with the Student Minds team and colleagues throughout the year as required

This role will include responding to queries, liaising with assessors, universities and general enquiries. The post holder will be responsible for working with the team to develop and monitor our HUB and digital platforms, for developing regular newsletters and working with colleagues to liaise with the many stakeholders involved in the assessment and programme processes.
Key responsibilities
Liaison support
- Provide effective liaison and administrative support to the Sector Improvement Programme(s), working closely with the Sector Improvement Lead and Programme Managers to ensure thesuccessful delivery of the programmes
- Support the planning and delivery of key Sector Improvement Programme activities such as the Winter Panel and the recruitment of the Award Assessors, CPD training and responding togeneral enquiries
- Act as the first point of contact for key stakeholders’ inquiries through the Charter Inbox and Student Minds’ Hub
Digital and resources support
- Utilise project management tools to manage work, deadlines and workflows alongside relevant colleagues to ensure timely and quality programme delivery
- Support the development of resources and documents for the charter, including newsletters, HUB announcements, Charter Handbook etc.
- Work closely with the Comms and Digital Team internally to develop and communicate clear timelines and resources needed throughout the year
- Support the annual onboarding of the Charter Programme, supporting the administrative tasks for the process, including some financial support. Lead on bringing together and distributing key documents such as welcome packs, Charter Framework documents etc.
- Support the coordinator (Programme and HUB) to onboard universities and Assessors to the HUB, and develop and grow the platform for members
- Update and oversee the Sector Improvement annual calendar of events and key activities/deliverables and share with the wider Student Minds team, identifying where dates may need to be moved
- Actively participate in the testing and embedding of new digital systems being led by the Digital
- Product Manager to increase efficiency and engagement for the Sector Improvement Programme and organisation as a whole for example collating product requirements
Financial support
- Work with the Programme Support Officer and finance colleagues to ensure correct processes and procedures are followed accurately and compliant with finance requirements
- Act as a secondary card holder for the team, making online purchases such as accommodation and travel bookings and following policies, procedures and guidance in the correct and responsible use of the Student Minds card
Data and process administration
- Administer data princesses for the University Mental Health Charter Programme and Award process, in line with Data Protection Guidelines

About the Role
Humanists International has another separate entity based in the US. This role will be a part of the UK operations team but will collaborate with the US finance team occasionally when it’s required, for example, during the audit period. Both UK and US finance teams are managed by the same Director of Finance and Operations who is based in London.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can provide excellent finance and administrative support to the small, predominantly home-based team. We’re seeking someone who is personable, highly organised, has attention to detail and is keen to take initiative and learn new skills. Onboarding training will be provided, but we would like you to demonstrate transferable skills.
You will work on a wide variety of tasks which will include bookkeeping and bank reconciliations, being the first point of contact for the organisation, as well as providing general administrative support to the team. The Supporter Care team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is often the first point of contact in the charity for supporters, potential donors, and members of the public. The Senior Supporter Care Officer (SSCO) works alongside the rest of the team ensuring that everyone who contacts the charity receives excellent service in order to maintain supporter satisfaction, and to generate the maximum amount of income for dementia research. This role supports the team with projects both within and outside Supporter Care and works with two other Officers to oversee team workload. This includes enquiry handling and donation processing, providing training and advice, and providing cover during absences. This is a line management position, responsible for 2-3 Supporter Care Executives, supporting and enabling them to succeed in the delivery of their roles. The SSCO reports to the Senior Supporter Care Manager (SSCM) and ensures that the team provide an efficient and a first-class supporter experience for the charity.
We are looking for two Senior Supporter Care officers to cover periods of maternity leave. These roles will be available on 12-month fixed term contracts, or on return of the substantive post holder.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Supporter engagement
- Champion high quality supporter care, ensuring that all supporters and members of the public have an excellent experience when contacting the charity.
- Support the team Executives with inbound telephone calls. This involves advising on a wide range of enquiries including campaigns, donations, fundraising events, and requests for materials, and ensuring the team are briefed in advance on all upcoming activity.
- Assist with enquiries received by email and post, and support team members with their responses.
- Act as the first point of contact for the resolution of complex queries and complaints, escalating to the SSCM as necessary.
- Support the team in promoting fundraising, engagement and retention opportunities when talking to supporters using a range of initiatives to explain how their donations positively contribute towards the cause.
- Assist the SSCM with monitoring performance of external response handling agencies and suppliers, routinely visiting the site to ensure quality standards are being met and issues are resolved.
Donation processing and database administration
- Ensure all donations are accurately processed and acknowledged using the database (Salesforce), and within our service-level agreements.
- Assist with the reconciliation of Salesforce and our financial accounts, completing audit checks as required.
- Ensure the integrity of Salesforce by amending supporter details as necessary.
- Ensure that tasks such as mid-value thanking, and vulnerability checks to improve engagement and maximise income are carried out by the team and correctly recorded.
- Ensure formal guidelines and best practice are adhered to in relation to Direct Debits, Gift Aid and the Data Protection Act.
- Look at ways to utilise and maximise the benefits of Salesforce to improve things such as reporting and efficiency.
Team leadership
- Line management of Supporter Care Executives to ensure goals and personal development plans are in place, carry our regular 1-1 meetings and appraisals.
- Deputise for the SSCM, assuming full responsibility for the team in their absence.
- Assist in managing the day-to-day work of the Supporter Care team. This will include managing supporter enquiries, donation processing, outbound calling, and ensuring telephone cover is in place.
- Assist the SSCM as required with any projects involving Supporter Care and be the team representative on some cross functional projects.
- Create and deliver training plans for new team members.
- Compile routine reports including all feedback received by the charity.
- Creating and updating team procedures as required.

- Brief, support and, where necessary, deliver the operational supervision of volunteers and event student teams.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting incidents and accidents during the event.
- Create surveys for each event in conjunction with the Marketing team and the Data Analyst.
About you
The Event Coordinator will be able to work autonomously as well as within a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential as the role will involve working with a diverse group of stakeholders from around Europe.
You will have a proven track record of running successful events and will have key skills including:
- Excellent project management, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver multiple projects.

- A knowledge of academic events would be an advantage.

Working with the Head of Governance, the Governance Manager will play an important role in managing governance activity and embedding good governance practices across the charity.
They will provide a high standard of confidential governance support to the CEO, Chair and Trustee Board, ensuring the effective running of the activities of the Board and its committees, enabling them to operate highly efficiently and help deliver strong governance functions.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Support for the Chair and Board of Trustees
- With the Head of Governance, support the Chair in their role in leading the governance of the organisation and other activities they undertake in their role.
- Organisation of Board and committee meetings, including compilation and circulation of papers to strict deadlines, attending meetings, minute taking and ensuring follow-up actions are completed, providing first class secretariat support and effective administration at all times.
- Deliver the overall programme of work for the Board throughout the year, including arranging venues and logistics for trustee and committee meetings as well as wider development activities such as away days or visits.
- Support the arrangement of annual board and Trustee appraisal activities.
- Support Trustees in their roles, proactively seeking out relevant opportunities to help them in their ambassadorial roles and in building relationships across ARUK.
- Lead on the Trustee induction and onboarding process for new Trustees including preparation of Trustee induction paperwork and registration with regulatory bodies.
- Co-ordination with all Charity departments to ensure all performance reports, briefing papers and communications are delivered within agreed timescales.
Governance
- Work with trustees and senior management (as required) to ensure the overall governance process administration is efficient and best practice.
- Management and maintenance of the online board portal software ensuring it remains up to date and accessible to Trustees.
- Maintenance of the register of Board members’ and Directors’ interests and any arising conflicts.
- Lead on an annual review of governance documents including terms of reference and schedule of delegation.
- Work with Operations, risk and compliance team on risk management and board assurance activities.
- Support the co-ordination and submission of regulatory returns in accordance with statutory deadlines.
- Present, record, file and store data (including all minutes of meetings and trustee related data) in accordance with company policy.
- Keep abreast of developments in governance and charity regulation and identify further opportunities for improvement to ensure ARUK delivers best practice.
Policies
- To monitor, develop and review policies and resources which support good governance.
- Work closely with the Head of Governance and Head of Operations, Risk and Compliance, overseeing organisational policy development and review process, ensuring our policies are fit for purpose.
- Ensure there is an accurate and up to date record of all policies.
- Ensure the Board has appropriate oversight of key policies.
- Support on communication around key policies.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of managing high-level Boards in the not-for-profit sector, including board development, administration and support
- Experience of building strong working relationships with senior stakeholders both within and outside an organisation
- Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent organisational & administrative skills, with a helpful and approachable manner.
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent influencing skills, able to work effectively across all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good researching skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and coordinate workload

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum, plus benefits
