Job description

My client is a very well-known and established charity, undertaking a vital role in society. Coronavirus has been an extremely testing time for them, however it has brought to light the abundance of talent and passion located within the teams of the charity itself. As the organisation navigates out of this period, they are looking to add to their staff in order to aid with a restructuring of the finance department, offering the opportunity to be a part of the transformation team.

  • Support the Financial Accountant in the maintenance of an accurate fixed asset register including monthly reconciliations
  • Support the Financial Accountant in ensuring assigned balance sheet and control accounts
  • Prepare account reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Support with the year-end process in helping to deliver a clean audit

The successful candidate will have a strong background in general bookkeeping, as well as experience with accounts payable and receivable. Previous exposure to fixed asset transactions is essential and should be evident on your CV. In addition to this, possess a high degree of determination, resilience, drive and willingness to work hard.
