Temple Church is located in the Temple, City of London. The Church serves the legal colleges (Inns of Court) of Inner and Middle Temple, and serves members of the Inns and their families, London’s residents, visiting jurists and travellers from all over the world through the provision of some of the most uplifting services, music and discussions in London. Inner and Middle Temple have established a new registered charity, Temple Church Trust (Reg no 1205712), to maintain the Church, support its choristers and professional musical team, and develop its charitable activities. In advance of the Trust becoming operational in the summer, the Temple Church Committee wishes to appoint the first Chief Executive Officer of the Trust.
The role:
The CEO will be expected to lead and coordinate an established team of full-time and part-time staff; manage the Church’s multifaceted stakeholder network; ensure close control and management of the Church’s resources; and represent the Church and its work to the two Inns and externally so that the Church can function effectively and plan confidently for the future. The CEO will also be responsible for the Church's sensitive commercial development through the Trust’s wholly-owned commercial subsidiary company.
What we need:
You will be an excellent leader with effective interpersonal skills. Your recent experience will be at the director level or equivalent in the third sector, public sector, military or commerce. You will have a proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to the leadership of an organisation similar in size and complexity to the Temple Church. Proven experience in managing and delivering projects and income generation is essential. You should demonstrate a commitment to learning and development and sympathy for the mission and values of the Church of England.
What we offer:
This is a full-time position with an annual salary of £75,000. Benefits include a generous non-contributory defined contribution pension scheme, private health care, and 25 days’ annual leave (plus public holidays).

We are looking for a part time Membership Officer to work Monday - Wednesday. This is essentially a job share with our existing Membership Officer who works Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays. Together, they will lead on administrative support of our membership functions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the strategy to build philanthropic giving at EHAAT in consultation with the CEO, Executive Team, Trustees and Development Board, to support the charity’s objectives and long term aims.
- Deliver a fundraising plan across the Philanthropy & Partnerships team, including major giving, legacies, trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships, to achieve agreed strategic objectives.
- Provide excellent executive support and guidance to the Development Board and the Chair, and take a leading role in building the Board further by identifying and recruiting to its membership and the wider pool of Ambassadors.

- Deliver regular activity and income reports and participate in the budgeting and forecasting of income in this area.

- Work across the charity to collaboratively create exciting and impactful propositions for funding, impact reports, and stewardship opportunities, in particular relating to the Centre for Excellence.
- Implement and regularly review an effective gift policy and undertake all necessary due diligence prior to accepting gifts, ensuring donations and grants are correctly allocated and used, and conditions met.
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of EHAAT's current work and future strategic plans.
- Identify potential relationships and opportunities across the fundraising team, recognising where there is overlap.
- Act as a source of expertise in major gift fundraising for the charity, advising trustees, development board and executive team on managing key philanthropic relationships and partnerships.

About the Role
Aesop are seeking an Interim Chief Executive to work with the Chair, to ensure that Aesop’s charitable vision, mission and strategic plans are developed and delivered effectively and sustainably. Galop is the UK's LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, working with and for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence.
Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced Gender Based Violence every year. Age UK Sutton (AUKS) is an independent, local charity with a turnover of around £1.4m. As the CEO, you will be working with a dedicated and experienced support network that includes the Chair and the wider Board of Trustees.
Overarching roles and responsibilities
The key purposes and elements of the Chief Executive role are:
- Supporting the Board in delivering its charitable objectives efficiently and effectively, complying with all its legal and regulatory obligations and maintaining high standards of corporate governance;
- Working with the Board to shape the organisational strategy and to oversee its delivery, ensuring the success and sustainability of AUKS as both a charity and a business;
- Maximising efficient use of all AUKS’ human, financial and other resources;
- Ensuring the range of services offered by AUKS is appropriately matched to the needs of local older people and sufficiently funded;
- Building strategic partnerships and managing AUKS’ external relationships both locally and nationally.
- Be a champion for equity, diversity and inclusion, understanding the demographics and specific needs of local older people, and promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

Person Specification
Essential experience, qualifications and attributes for the post are demonstrable ability to:
- Inspire, lead and motivate people towards the achievement of excellence;
- Be values-driven and compassionate
- Think strategically and translate strategy into measurable objectives underpinned by robust measurement systems;
- Recognise needs and opportunities in the development of services;
- Manage day-to-day operations to a firm budget with effective systems of financial management, control and reporting;
- Employ detailed knowledge of the charity sector and related funding issues including identifying and developing new sources of voluntary income;
- Manage organisational change and restructuring effectively and sensitively, including introducing new services / closing down services, staff redeployment and TUPE
- Work effectively with external partners, stakeholders and a governing Board;
- An affinity for older people and championing their needs.
It would also be highly desirable for candidates to have:
- Knowledge of NHS and local authority / public sector context, and implications for commissioned services
- Commercial acumen, developing and marketing paid-for services
- An understanding of the implications of digital developments for older people.

We are seeking a Group Communications Manager who will support the mission of Daughters of Charity Services through leading our work on communications, advocacy and campaigns as we seek to secure social justice for those in greatest need.
Reporting to the CEO, and working closely with the leadership of our member charities, the Group Communications Manager will lead on communications and campaigns strategies for our national initiatives, and in finding effective ways of supporting both ourselves and our member charities to engage key stakeholders. The Group Communications Manager will seek to shape public awareness of the issues and challenges faced by those we seek to support, ensuring that their voices are heard by those who shape policy. The successful candidate will build awareness of our work and the issues we seek to raise through the creation of engaging impact reports, regular newsletters, the development of campaign materials, and through fostering effective collaboration with a range of organisations sharing our mission.
Prior experience of developing extensive, tailored communications strategies and campaigns is essential. We expect the successful candidate to be an outstanding communicator, and to possess significant experience of building successful, high-impact multi-stakeholder partnerships. Strong skills in managing social media and online content is also required.
