ISEAL is offering an exciting opportunity for a proactive and well-organised individual with a keen interest in research and sustainability to support ISEAL’s workstream on impacts and research. The role provides coordination support to research, events and learning activities and offers valuable exposure to ISEAL and our community members’ work. The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of how market-based sustainability tools such as standards are catalysing global efforts to advance on critical social and economic sustainability issues. ISEAL supports sustainability standards and similar market-based sustainability systems to improve their impacts on people and planet.  ISEAL’s Credibility Principles and Codes of Good Practice are used globally to guide the development of credible sustainability systems and to evaluate the credibility of sustainability claims. 

The main objective of the ISEAL´s impacts and research work is to gather, share, generate and disseminate credible and compelling research that helps ISEAL and its stakeholders understand the impacts and effectiveness of market-based sustainability approaches such as the use of standards, company approaches and other voluntary tools. A key mechanism to achieve this vision is the Evidensia platform evidensia(.)eco launched with partners in 2019. The maintenance, upkeep and growth of Evidensia as an independent and credible public good tool to share results and learning on market-based tools is a key responsibility this role.

The position will provide administrative and coordination support to the team and workstream including supporting research tracking, coding, delivery of learning events, communications, project management on special research projects and liaison with other ISEAL teams on collaborative work. Specific project assignments will change over time as ISEAL’s project portfolio evolves.

You can bring sound research skills and a good level of work experience in roles focused on project administration, research or analysis, stakeholder engagement and communications.

The position will be based in ISEAL’s Impacts and Evidence workstream which sits within the Policy and Engagement Team.

Key Responsibilities we will entrust you with:

Project coordination and delivery support

• Coordinate project management processes, including implementation of procurement procedures, drafting contracts with consultants (based on ISEAL templates) and maintaining project-related systems
• Carry out background research, review documents, and gather and analyse information using templates and tools such as Excel
• Liaise with select external project partners to share updates and ensure smooth project management
• Contribute to outreach to project stakeholders, Community Members, partners & event attendees, answering and directing queries and scheduling appointments and virtual/ in-person meetings

Evidensia platform, communication and events

• Monitor and track relevant research for the Evidensia platform
• Code and upload content and resources onto the Evidensia platform
• Create social media content for Evidensia channels with guidance from manager
• Support production of team reports and research products
• Coordinate event and meeting logistics, both virtual and in person, and preparation of agendas, communication with participants etc.
• Support event and meeting delivery, including technical support, taking notes, follow up actions and dissemination of post event communications
• Liaise with other teams within ISEAL and with ISEAL members to share new research and provide updates on latest work
• Support drafting and production of relevant newsletters, website articles, and reports

Research, analysis and writing

• Carry out background and desk research support as needed for the team on Evidensia or special research projects
• Proof-read, edit, design, and format documents in Word and Powerpoint, using ISEAL templates
• Prepare slides and other communication material for the team for meetings

Experience, Knowledge and Attributes

• Experience working in a policy or research/analysis support role, in a highly collaborative environment such as an international NGO
• Understanding of sustainability systems and how they work to help deliver change
• Experience and comfort working with subject matter of a niche or specialist nature, possibly gained through data analysis, project communications, and/or the review and analysis of data sets, academic research, technical reports, and policy documents
• Strong organisational skills, and experience with administration, meeting coordination, logistics, contracts, budget tracking, etc.
• Confidence in communications with peers and external partners, comfortable in public speaking situations (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)

The National Neonatal Audit Programme (NNAP) Project Coordinator is an instrumental role for the College in which you will support the delivery of a high-quality national clinical audit along with supporting improvements in neonatal care for babies and their families.

As Audit Project Coordinator, you will coordinate the collection of high-quality audit data, and be responsible for coordinating sub-projects and spotlight audits.

Acting as the first point of contact for audit process and data enquiries received from hospital units, regional network leads and other stakeholder organisations, you will take responsibility for responding to each enquiry using your detailed knowledge of the audit methodology.

You will also respond to queries relating to the NNAP methodology and support paediatric services within NHS Health Boards, Trusts and Networks to understand and use NNAP results to inform quality improvement activities, as well as monitoring NNAP participation rates to define, execute and promote improvements to data submission processes.

Reporting to the NNAP Project Manager, you will conduct testing and quality assurance of audit software systems, liaising with software developers to evaluate, improve and update online data submission and reporting processes, whilst preparing updates to project webpages, user guidance and promotional materials for audit submission and participation. In addition, you will coordinate project webinars, workshops and national events for the NNAP and represent the NNAP at conferences to help promote NNAP activities.

You will also prepare and disseminate audit outputs and publications for different audiences, including audit commissioners and funders, children, young people and families, and NHS services participating in the audit.

Degree qualified or with equivalent experience in a mathematical or numerate discipline, you should have proven experience of producing high-quality written reports and promotional information, suitable for a range of audiences.

With strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, a high level of numeracy and the ability to interrogate large, complex datasets in Excel or statistical packages, you should have a background of working in a health-related or research setting.

Your project management experience along with your proven organisational skills and your ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work should ensure you are able to take personal responsibility for your own projects.

Demonstrable experience of engaging and communicating with stakeholders effectively, along with a proven understanding of information governance, data protection and confidentiality processes are essential.

A project management certification/qualification, knowledge and experience of the use of statistical packages, and a general understanding of a clinical audit and the reasons why clinical conditions are audited locally and nationally, would be desirable.

One of the core elements of this work is the production of the Freedom of Thought Report. The Report examines every country in the world for its record on upholding the rights and equality for non-religious people. We consider issues of legal discrimination and outright persecution and violence. The Report is essential to our awareness-raising efforts of the persecution faced by the non-religious.

Humanists International is embarking on a 2-year programme of work in order to realize some long-term improvements to the Freedom of Thought Report. We are looking for an enthusiastic research coordinator to join our team and participate in all stages of the publication process.

As a research coordinator you will support the Casework & Campaigns Manager to administer, plan and produce the Freedom of Thought Report, providing evidenced-based research to shape and influence human rights policy as it pertains to the non-religious.

This is a predominantly home-based role, but does require the attendance of in-person events such as the General Assembly and Team Building, as required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Migrateful Cookery School and our pop-up venues are pivotal to our operations, providing essential spaces for our Cookery Class Teachers to deliver their classes and for our guests to enjoy the  experience. We are seeking a proactive, individual with previous experience in a similar role to take ownership of the upkeep and day to day running of the Migrateful Cookery School, and to ensure our pop-up venues are fully kitted out to support the smooth running of or our classes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General

• Refine the system for keeping track of levels of stock (beverages, cleaning supplies, dry goods etc.) and  replenishing them when necessary.
• Implement a cookery school procurement / supplier policy in line with our operational and financial needs.
• Maintain awareness of all activities taking place at the Cookery School across a week (including weekends) and ensuring all equipment and ingredients required for these classes/activites are made available. 
• Place timely food orders and coordinate accurate and punctual food deliveries.
• Store ordered food items in accordance with Food Safety guidelines.
•  Organise and maintain storage cupboards for kitchen supplies, equipment, allergens, dry goods, beverages etc,.
• Ensure all relevant signage is up to date, uniform, and properly visible.
• Review and update documentation related to the Cookery School.
• Maintain checklists  and perform daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and inspections in compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Establish a system for periodic inspection and upkeep of cookery kits, considering the ongoing class and demo schedule..
• Monitor feedback and implement the necessary operational improvements at the school.
• Act as the point of contact for matters related to the Cookery School. (Occasionally these queries may be out of hours but can be handled telephonically.)
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Appropriately manage a small budget and properly track all receipts and purchases.

This is an exciting new role to develop a peer support group for people recently diagnosed with dementia and their family carers and to co produce a programme of activities so that they can continue to engage in stimulating activities in the community.

As a social enterprise commercial income is key to our success.  The Commercial team is responsible for income generation and business growth through sourcing occupants for our commercial units and clients for our venues.  The Commercial team deliver over 600 events from our venues and are continually building partnerships and liaising with key stakeholders across the South Bank areas.

You will be responsible for securing sales from new and existing clients as well as managing event logistics in close liaison with our operational team.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines

LSO Discovery is seeking a motivated arts administrator to take on the role of Discovery Choral and Concerts Coordinator. The role coordinates work across LSO Discovery’s orchestral concerts for young people and communities, including the Key Stage concerts for schools, Family concerts, and the Discovery Showcase, and coordinates singing activities through the LSO Gospel Community Voices project and the LSO Discovery Choirs. The role reports to the Schools and Partnerships Projects Manager.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in an arts organization
• Experience in coordinating or supporting the administration of music education projects. 
• Knowledge of and interest in vocal music 
• A commitment to, and some knowledge of music education in the UK

Your profile

The role will report into the Events & Sponsorship Manager and will be responsible for assisting in coordinating and project managing a varied portfolio of events, including an annual member conference, internal staff events, roundtables, and a range of face-to-face and online events as well as overseeing the ETF’s presence at sector trade shows and conferences, working with the events manager to proactively seek impactful speaking and sponsorship opportunities to help build the profile and raise awareness of our work within the FE and Skills sector, and produce corporate display materials and collateral for events, giving consideration to sustainability, and working closely with the marketing team to ensure brand guidelines are upheld.

The National Youth Orchestra is the UK’s leading organisation championing orchestral music as a powerful agent for teenage development. We are a welcoming community where every teenager can play their part in shaping their world through extraordinary music.
