Job description

Do you have experience in a self-supported role in Christian ministry? Have you wrestled with the joys and challenges of personal support raising? Would you like to be involved in seeing those in raising support well resourced in order to see the kingdom grow? Do you have an eye for detail and good administrative skills, along with excellent communication and people skills?

During an exciting time of change and growth, you will help deliver the individual partner side of our giving service which manages the donations for over 2,700 people in self-supported Christian work. We are recruiting a temporary role in order to help update a particular area of our service. This has the potential to become a more permanent role.  The individual partnerships team is passionate about helping individuals and organisations succeed in support raising in order to see a greater impact for the Kingdom in both the UK and beyond.

You will be involved in supporting the team delivering all areas of the Partner Account for Individuals and various initiatives to help individuals get closer to their support target and give their supporters a fulfilling experience of partnership in the gospel.

Main responsibilities

To include, but not limited to:

Facilitating giving to Individual Partners

  • Deliver high-quality customer service to our individual partners. This includes assessing applications from Christian workers and Bible college students for approval to receive charitable funds from Stewardship as funded by their supporters, the timely and accurate handling of enquiries or requests from individual partners regarding their accounts by phone or email and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Helping to deliver Project 1400; a project to ensure all our accounts are up to date. This will involve liaising with many of our individual partners around the world.


  • Where required, assist in the organisation and administration of our support-raising training programme. Depending on experience there may be opportunities to join in delivering parts of the training.
  • Support the team as they offer consulting to organisational leaders around support raising. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Provide administrative support where required, for example, administering the supply of the Funding the Family Business book.
  • Where appropriate, contribute to the creation of resources such as blogs for individual partner, information papers, social media campaigns or messages, training notes and materials.
