Administration Officer (Birmingham)

21 hours per week

£9,828 (pro rata plus pension and healthcare scheme benefits)

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide administrative support to our new Wellbeing Activities Team. As a key member of the team you will provide support on all aspects of the project administration including, maintaining records, collating data, answering calls, and organizing events.

The ideal candidate

The right person for this role enjoys being organised, has a great personality, pays attention to detail and understands that they are part of a team working together to provide activities for older people. They will also relish a challenge and enjoy getting things done.

Possessing excellent customer service skills; a confident and professional telephone manner; strong attention to detail, and with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher and OneDrive).

The organisation

We are a locally focused charity with over 160 staff and volunteers across Birmingham and Sandwell. We provide support and services to people aged 50 and over. We are looking to grow and expand to reach more of the older people in Birmingham and Sandwell.
