Job description

Are you admin savvy with an interest in humanitarian issues?

Our client is an independent humanitarian organisation working with vulnerable people who have suffered in disaster and conflict. They are currently looking for an Office Administrator to act as a key point of contact within the organisation, who will also efficiently oversee the smooth running of the office - including office services, IT, health and safety, and ordering supplies, as well as providing PA support to the Directors. This is a temporary role with a view to become permanent, suited to someone who embodies humanitarian values - and who wants to gain experience working for a cause helping to improving the lives of others.

This is a diverse role encompassing a wide range of duties from maintaining the office facilities and providing IT support, to providing PA and admin support to the Directors, which includes diary management, HR tasks and coordinating team and Board meetings, which will also involve minute taking and preparing Board papers. This role would suit someone looking to develop their existing admin skills and gain experience in office management.

The ideal candidate must have experience juggling multiple workloads, along with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will also have proven experience of managing core office services such as health and safety, infrastructure, IT, as well as providing PA support to senior managers.
