A Little Bit of Sunshine UK (ALBOS UK) is seeking to recruit a volunteer administrative assistant to support the charity at an important point in its development, its second year of operation, supporting young people to be at the heart of decision making in support services.
The administration assistant will be responsible for general administration across the charity, including recruitment support and human resources.

Volunteer Receptionist/Administrator
Location: Saint Michael’s Hospice – Crimple House, Hornbeam Park, Harrogate, HG2 8NA
Hours: Flexible hours – Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm.

An exciting opportunity to join our team of Volunteers supporting the Reception and Administration staff based at Crimple House, who are the first point of contact for anybody arriving at the Hospice.
Key responsibilities will include answering and directing telephone enquiries, greeting patients, patient visitors and staff, ensuring they are warmly welcomed at all times, as well as undertaking a variety of administration tasks using Word and Excel.
The Reception desk is manned Monday to Friday and volunteers can undertake part or full day cover. The volunteer rota is set a month in advance and volunteers will be contacted to gain their availability at least 2 weeks in advance.

We are looking for someone to volunteer their time to being a Clerk for our small charity supporting children in the one of the poorest places on the planet to exit extreme poverty.
What will you be doing
As a key part of the governance of the charity, the commitment and energy you can bring to our Board will make a key difference to the charity and the children we support.

Voluntary Administration Officer
ETS is a growing UK based Christian charity, which is looking to expand its discipleship and evangelism training throughout the UK.

Mynshull’s Educational Foundation is committed to improving the life-chances of young people from Manchester and Salford, so they can grow up to fulfil their potential. Through the provision of small grants, we aim to reduce the barriers that young people face to education, skills and training.
We provide funding for young people aged 25 or under to help them obtain equipment, uniforms or experiences that support them in starting or continuing their education or training. Are you a proactive administrator interested in getting into fundraising in the Third Sector? Burning Nights CRPS Support is seeking a passionate and dedicated volunteer to join our team as a Fundraising Administrator. As a Fundraising Administrator Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting the fundraising team to look after our supporters who raise funds for our work. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of the individuals we support, empowering them to live fulfilling lives after a debilitating and complex condition.

Key Tasks and Objectives
- Process fundraising materials orders
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of supporters through our database
- Write thank you letters, certificates, cards and postcards to acknowledge donations and final amounts raised
- Stewardship of fundraisers by communicating with them throughout their fundraising journey
- General administration duties as and when required
Key Skills or Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ideally have knowledge of Google Drive
- Ideally have knowledge of CRMs or databases
- Strong organisational skills
- Maintain strict confidentiality

Training and Support

About the Charity: Burning Nights CRPS Support is a UK wide charity that works to improve life for those living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), their families, loved ones, carers and friends. As a charity we raise awareness about the condition amongst the public, health and legal professionals by providing CRPS awareness sessions so that patients can be diagnosed quicker to enable treatment to start more rapidly.

The Marie Curie Companion service is provided by trained volunteers who offer one-to-one companionship and support to people with a terminal illness and their families. The service would not be able to reach those most in need if it was not for the commitment and hard work of our volunteers.
We’re looking for an experienced volunteer admin assistant to assist in the smooth running of our Companion Service.
Your role will include some of, but is not restricted to, the following tasks:
- Provide administrative support within the Helper service often within a hospice setting.
- Update computerised records
- Assist with office duties such as mailings, filing and inventories
- Assist with any relevant photocopying
- Operate within all relevant policies and guidelines, including health and safety, equal opportunities, confidentiality and financial regulations.
