Role: Operations Manager
Location: Remote (In-person attendance in meetings/commitments in various locations Nottingham, Chester, Liverpool or London most likely approximately 12 times per year)
Duration: Temporary initially for 3 months, with a view to be extended for the right candidate
Salary: £25 per hour plus £3.02 per hour holiday pay (annual salary £45,000 FTE)
Working hours: 25 hours per week, 100 hours per month approximately. In the first month, there may be a need to work 28 hours (4 days) to help settle into the role.

As their dedicated Operations Manager, your day to day will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the completion of weekly performance goals.
- Driving increased membership and broader recognition of EMDR therapy.
- Supervising digital transformation projects, websites, and cybersecurity processes.
- Developing an effective communication strategy.
- Collaborating with the treasurer and partners on budgetary and resource allocation plans.
- Delegating responsibilities to qualified employees and contractors.
- Strong commitment to and experience of EEDI demonstrated in their practice.
- Managing challenges faced by individuals and members professionally and ethically.
- Promoting EMDR UK policies and ensuring accessibility to guidance documents.
- Reviewing delicate issues with cultural sensitivity in mind.
- Engaging in reflective practice to enhance the association's work and communications.

Head of IT
£68,397 pa + 10% allowance for 24 months and excellent benefits

The Royal College of Pathologists is seeking a Head of IT to lead the IT strategy and operational management of the IT function. The post holder will have a proven understanding of technology transformation and the opportunities this can provide for the College. The role will be responsible for shaping and executing the IT strategy to support the overall business objectives and strategic plans, while at the same time taking an active lead on the operational aspects of IT and AV support services. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Head of IT is a highly visible and leading role and will work closely with all departments and the Senior Management Team.
Currently embarked on an organisation-wide technology transformation project, this will be a primary initial focus with the aim of being more connected, efficient, and providing more effective member services. The Head of IT will be pivotal in ensuring delivery of technology driven aspects of the College wide project and future projects by horizon scanning for new technologies and ways of working that can continue to improve the College’s operations.
The role requires excellent personal communication skills, commitment to customer service and management expertise to lead a small team. Apart from the internal College projects and services, the IT and AV department provides event support for commercial events on site.
All of the College IT and AV services are supported via a service desk. The Head of IT is responsible for ensuring that daily operations run smoothly, and any issues identified are resolved swiftly and effectively. Responsibility and experience at a technical level for networks, IT security, AV systems as well as MS365 solutions is a pre-requisite. Being part of a small team, it is expected that the Head of IT will take a hands-on approach where required.
Please note this role will require significant on site presence.

Global Health Project Officer with IT Project
£36,707 pa pro rata plus excellent benefits

This role will support two key College projects; the Global Health Workforce Project for 3 days a week and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) replacement project for 2 days a week.
For the Global Health Workforce Project you will be responsible for the RCPath’s overall project management and delivery obligations as lead partner. This will include providing key day-to-day administrative and project management support to ensure delivery of all project activities, milestones and reporting requirements, including communication about the progress of the project across a range of College media channels. You will act as the first point of contact for project partners and stakeholders in the UK and Africa and will be responsible for all the logistical planning and support for the project's key activities, including organisation and delivery of online lectures.
For 2 days a week you will support the implementation of the College’s new CRM system. You will act in a supporting role to carry out CRM project administration and support the CRM Project Manager on operational tasks. You will need to have the ability to plan, communicate and present information clearly and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders either virtually or in person. You will also need to be fully IT literate and confident in the use of Microsoft 365 applications.
